The Waterpark is limited to the outdoor slides and the pool. Most activities are paid for at its location such as at the waterpark. Some activities such as golfing; tee-time must be scheduled/booked but paid for at the course. Hope this helps.
Hiking and golfing
Massanutten has a few playgrounds and a pool that don't cost anything. Everything else on the property has a cost. You buy them at the nearest offices. Everything is pretty well marked.
If you visit Luray Caverns you buy tickets there. Definitely worth a trip there.
Massanutten is a very great place to visit and Luray Cavens. I have taken my childcare there 10 years ago. The kids and I had a wonderful time. Massanutten is were you go to unwind and have fun do much to do and see, plus there are different places to stay at. You don't have to bring anything from home just your food. Because what every you need to cook with are in the rooms you stay in. Please go and check them out.
