This is a great venue to see live music! It's really well thought out, with easy entry and exit points. There are plenty of food and beverage offerings, from pizza to poke to tacos. Not just from the usual stalls but also food trucks! And of course, loads of drinks options. You can get cocktails, wine by the bottle and glass, beer, soft drinks- you name it! Prices are way more reasonable than say, Levi's stadium. The seating is comfortable and easy to get a decent view. Especially like the lawn area where you can set up a picnic and rent deck chairs. Definitely worth a visit!

Saw The Chicks here in July.2022. The show was excellent & the sound, effects were amazing. The venue had many different food venders & alcohol options. Walked in so we avoided the parking nightmare, recommend not parking on site.

Had a great time at the amphitheater. Good show. Good crowd. Good food and drink stalls. Everything was well organized except the flow of traffic after the show .
I've given 4stars because we had to wait for one hour in the car in the parking lot before we could even move a yard.

I've been to this amphitheater before over ten years ago but it was just as great as last time. I went to see Stevie Nicks this past weekend and she was AMAZING!! Parking was free and it was a short walk to amphitheater. Employees are professional and helpful! I definitely recommend checking out a concert here.
You can bring up to a gallon of bottled water and a gallon zip lock of food as well as blankets and low back/beach chairs. You can also bring in an empty water ball to fill after you enter.
Anything except glass containers, guns, ammo and knives. It is faster if you don't have a bag because they have to search everything. They also run a metal detector over you.
Personally I only take my ID, ticket for the venue and a little cash.
Each concert can have their own restrictions for example many shows you have to rent their chairs now. Always check the web site and specific concert page restrictions.
I don't think you can bring any alcohol or sodas in there. You can bring water bottles that are unopened. And I believe you can bring snacks in there too but whatever you're bringing in has to be put in a clear ziplock bag. I think one gallon size bag per person.
If you have a fast line pass that means no bags or fanny packs or wallets that look like purses. If you have any of these items they will ask you to go to a diffrent line.
You are correct. There is no "pit". All of the seating directly in front of the stage is fixed. Shoreline Amphitheater has reserved seating, GA lawn tickets, and reserved lawn tickets.
If I leave my seat to get a snack, and my date has the e-tickets on his phone (I do not have a smartphone)--
how do I get back to my seat, as I have no paper ticket (or proof of seat assignment)
Thank YOU-
jwo
Quite the conundrum there. I would send 1 person ahead early in a cab or Uber. Once that person secures the tickets and parking passes, you can meet him on the street on your way in... Shoreline Security will not let you into the VIP parking without a pass, even if your the Headliner... Enjoy the show.
From what I understand, you cannot bring in chairs. You can however rent them at the venue or add them to your ticket order. I've been to this venue too many times to count (prior to the world shutting down) but it sounds like they don't allow several items like they used to :/
How do I confirm tickets from 2020 concert that was rescheduled for 2021 are still valid tickets?

You would truly have to contact your ticket vendor to find out. Too many things have occurred in order to give you a proper answer. Good luck and hope you enjoy your show. I know I was out there for a work and they were working with the sound system and it sounded really good..
Who could I speak to with regards to possibly booking a band?

i have tickets for the dobbie bros that was supposed to have been sept 12 2020 ??? will my tickets for same concert 2021 be honored ???????????

Yes, it's my understanding that if you did not request a refund for 2020 you are set for the 2021 go to the website and confirm or change your seating.
Is there accessible parking near the entrance to venue?
I agree uber or lyft. Be prepared for lack of cell service and high charges for uber and lift after the concert. It took us about half an hour to get a ride back out, but it was amazing not having to drive. :)
are there no shuttle buses from some strategic points? before the exit would be best. It took 5 hours from San Rafael to get to the concert. Half of it was over by the time we entered the venue (9:30 pm). Sitting for hrs just getting off fwy.

Not sure about shuttle service. We drove in also. It took us 2 hours from San Mateo to Mountain View.
I just went for a concert there last week and parked in the general parking which was free and about a 5 minute walk to the amphitheater. Whether you Uber or drive your going to be stuck in traffic for a while so plan on going early. Have fun, I wanted to go for Santana but can't make it!
General parking was free and not too far of a walk to the amphitheater. It's a dirt parking lot so expect your car and shoes to have a layer of dust on them by the end of the night. There's VIP parking that's closer, but I have no clue how much that would cost.
Can anyone answer this. I’m going to a concert in July and I got seats and some of my friends might want to be in the grassy area. I’m wondering can I go into the General Admission grass area in and out freely? Or can I only be in the seats?

I believe that you can go in the grass section, but people with grass section seats can't come to the seated area.
Does the person who writes the time that concerts begin, when a person Googles
"Upcoming shows at Shoreline" know how to tell time? Please have a look at the times,
many, like the one that starts at "3am" seem unlikely!

Time doesnt really matter but if your worried about it most converts on weekdays start around 7:00 pm
hi, iam interested in buying santana tickets for the June 26 concert at the shoreline. Question is can I show up at the shoreline ticket office on Friday January 18th at 10:00 a.m. and be able to purchase tickets?

I do not know what time the box office opens but I have purchased tickets at the venue before the show in order to save on the ticket fees my suggestion is to call them and find out what time the box office opens and on what days for example. Be open on Sunday!
VIP parking is kind of a pain to get out of. I always park down the street at the bar and go in and have hors d'oeuvres after the concert. Don't have to deal with all the traffic then. It's about 3 blocks
How early should we get to the venue if we purchased lawn tickets to get decent seating? I hear the best spot is close to the big projector. We’re doing Dave MatthewsBand this Sat @ 8pm. Thanks in advance for any tips.
If you purchased them online then you would of gotten a email with a link to view, download or print the tickets. If you didn't get them over your normal email them check your spam email they are probably there
If you take your own car, LEAVE EARLY!!
TOOK ME OVER 1 HOUR TO GET OUT OF PARKING LOT FOR THE Lynyrd Skynrd Show. But it WAS WORTH STAYING for FREEBIRD!
Alcohol is banned in the parking lot but people drink anyways. No coolers inside venue, you can take unopened bottles of water in with you. lawn tickets arent terrible especially if you are right in front along the railing. there are giant screens that give you an up close look at the stage. for my husband and I, lawn tickets were good. If you want a good up close view of the stage directly, i wouldn't recommend lawn seating
Can we bring a back pack with change of clothes? What about a swell aluminum water container
Kristine Ruzich | Aug 29, 2018
Destany Patrick | Aug 29, 2018
Yes you can. The water container has to be empty though
Can you take your own food in?
Jeanette Dominguez | Aug 29, 2018
Melody McGruder | Aug 29, 2018
Yes and has to be in a gallon-size plastic bag. And you can bring in water empathic containers that have not been opened. One bottle per person. You cannot bring in liquor or beer.
Been going to ShoreLine for the longest time and have always taken Uber or Lyft to the 7eleven towards the venue enterance! Love to grab a 6 pack ... chill a few... and start making the 15 minute strike to the lines. Finish beers... Repeat next concert!!
I don't know about ga 1 and 2, because the grass is usually the only ga area. But, they generally have a section 1 and a section 2 and one is lower seats and 2 is higher seats... those are all in front of the ga area.
It's right by the amphitheater, but it fills up quick, get there early or they'll put you across the street. There is a golf cart that'll give you a ride if you end up across the street. Great venue though!
It has a big parking lot, ive been there on 3 occasions and i have never had any trouble finding parking. Additionally If im not mistaken i believe they have a separate little parking lot right by the gate for people who are handicap as well.
Thanks again for your email address is a very nice to have the right direction for your help with this one but I am going through the process of getting a little more than one person who is the best way to go to the Federal reserve Bank account. Thanks the Weather Channel and the rest of your website on top of my resume. Thanks
Merchandise is sold from the performer in different areas throughout the venue. Lines will form in the front of the main entrance for merch.. Walk further down to the left to find other booths. I recommend taking Uber or Lyft (your preference) but away from the main entrance because it gets congested of crowds and vehicles leaving the parking lot. Hope that helps.
The last few times I've gone the parking was free. Don't forget you can bring a blanket in to sit on and they also rent out beach chairs for $5.. Best part you can leave the chairs where you sat.. No need to return them to the renting station.
They do search your bag. Security seems to be pretty relax though. Be courteous to your neighbors and check if they're ok with it. A complaint can happen.
Can anyone recommend any free/public parking nearby to avoid the venue traffic?
Carlos H | Aug 29, 2018
Dan Athey | Aug 29, 2018
There really isn't any - the venue is surrounded by the Google campus and the nearest public streets are literally miles outside the front gate. If you stay overnight in town, its pretty easy to take Lyft in though, and you avoid much of the traffic that way.
Just visited the shoreline again after 20yrs and one thing that did get worse is traffic into and out of the venue. I recall how bad it was back in the day but today is a joke. More expansion and congestion. Overall bad planning I think. But hey what do I know? All I did was sit in a line in the parking lot with hundreds of other cars for 35" without moving an inch.
They have free parking, but you do have to walk a bit. It isn't a bad walk being that I have a bad back and i have no probLen doing it.
If you ride a motorcycle, you get up front parking that was free when I went last time.
