I called multiple times, different hours of the day to find out more information about visa for my young child. I gave up after a whole week of calling and no humans to answer the calls. I sent 3 emails looking for the answers to my questions, NO humans or AI replied to my emails.

This review is for the security guard only. The Security Guard is absolutely rude and don’t care about his job. He don’t know how to deal with customer services at all. He is the first place before everyone entering in the Royal Thai consulate. He needs to improve how he has to deal with customer or if he don’t like to do service then he better quiz the job!!! Useless helping at all.

In Texas, you must apply for your passport at the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C.
Go visit the nearest Thai Embassy & ask them is your best shot
If all other documents are complete and do not expire, the Thai consulate will be able to come to the country, but must see which staff at the consular office will be traveling to the state. page. Think, good luck.
Choose an embassy that is convenient. There are Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, about this. Make an appointment online. In advance through the website of the embassy, after receiving the queue, print the application form. Completely written + Stamp 27.70 $ + Envelope (there is an envelope provided by the embassy at Los Angeles )+ Money order according to the price of the connected pass. For example, if you want to extend it for 10 years, it will be 55$ + the original passport + the real national ID card. You can inquire through the consulate's Facebook page for each location. But in Los Angeles, the staff responded quickly and the service was very good.
Try going to the embassy website. Documents are available to load and print out.
Here are the new updates entry measures starting 4/1/2022. What I'm understand it 7 day if you have vaccinated but to be sure call Thai Embassy they can help you better
I am not sure. I did my application online. Check with Consulate phone number before you heading. Last time I checked they closed in person application because of Covid.
Hopefully after October 15. They recently announced this.
Make an appointment on the website of Thai Consulate or check กงสุลสัญจร they might have plan to go to ur state.
I was not able to get any answers or meet any person.and I had a problem with the robotic switchable signature code that I had been doing many times online and still not getting acceptable...so I am not able to apply online

Yes it is!! You must have a visa to get in Thailand, now these days. The Condition is that it must be valid to get in.

I am not a Thai Embassy official, but I know that Thailand has free entry for Tourist Visa good for 30 days. If you read their website, it will explain. You are asking on Google Maps community for the accurate answer go to the website.
Before I reach one month in Thailand I go Singapore or Hong Kong to have my passport stamped . Then I can stay another month in Thailand.
They say they have a 2 week turn around time
I am not an official Thai Embassy employee, but I know how the visa for retirement. I believe you should travel to Thailand on a tourist visa & find someone who can speak Chinese, Thai & English to help you. Because it seems you have little English or Thai comprehension. But they are many Chinese/Thai in Thailand that can speak your language to be able to help you best. Good luck!
Good question The only way I know that you're going to replace your birth certificate is to go to your countries records office and look up your birth certificate. Or at least that's the way it works in USA.
Visa on arrival is 30days that can be extended a max of 30days at an immigration office in Thailand for a fee. You can get a 60 day tourist visa at the Thailand Consulate for which you have to apply and pay a fee. Multiple entry visa is available at the Thailand Consulate by applying and paying a few. Other visas are available depending on your requirements. You should check the Thailand Consulate website.
It's been my experience that if you go in the morning you do not have to have an appointment. There is also a little lady across the street that can help you do any of the paperwork that you need she's very reasonable and very knowledgeable.
Use a police card with case #
I would like to know how can request to become a Thai citizen for my daughter now she is 18 years old and was born CA, USA
The website shows all visa details and necessary things.
It takes like 1 month or two Good luck
As you know, the consulate in Thailand has translated
You don't need an appointment. You can walk in. You might have to wait in line.
You can apply for a visa through this consulate. They explain all the visa types on the website. My understanding, if you have a recognized marriage, with the proper documentation, you should be able to get a Non O 1 year visa. You cannot apply for these visas inside the country.
I would email them. If you dont mention them. They have federal database that shows everything. A email and ask if misdemeanors are counted on a Visa application. Good luck. You could go to The White House. There love crime there.
$35. 00
$35 money order only no cash or credit card
I do not believe so
Hi Thanh, the Royal Thai Consulate website has a lot of information. The Vietnamese Consulate website should also provide information regarding whether or not you need a visa.
yes, unless holiday
Yes you do need a visa
Doctor note and Prescriptions should be sufficient . I went to thailand without them no one ask but just to be on a safe side.
Approximately 4 to 5 hours
http://www.thaiconsulatela.org/service_passport_online_appointment.aspx Press to make an appointment to make a new passport.
No. Visas are ready same day if submitted before noon. Just make sure to bring a money order or cashier's check for the correct amount.
As an American you don't need a Visa if you are not going to stay more than 30 days. If you are you will need to get a Visa.
You don't have too. You go on your trip offer your passport when asked and that's it. No Visa needed. For in and out vacation. Any other reason. Work. School. You need a Visa.
A question for the Consulate. My knowledge is you don't need a visa for 60 days. A American passport gets you 90 days. You can go 14 days before expiration and ask for a extension of 30 and I've never seen anyone turned away. Then that's it. You have to apply for a long term visa of some type or get out. You need to be sure about your time Table. People do Visa runs over the border at Laos or Cambodia. Then you can start you the all over again from the beginning. So you could stay 90 plus the 30 on the extension. Then visa run then you'll be back at 90. Visa run is pay a Thai to set up a day trip you cross the border. Get stamped and now back at 90 days. They are specific offers by Thai people that handle those trips. Look online. Google Visa run. Good luck. Safe travels. If your in L. A. area go to the Consulate ask them. There very helpful.
No. They have a info desk. You do have to have a purpose to be there or the entry on street level will turn you away. With information of course. If you have long term visa questions or documents. They will take good care of you. My experience was very positive. It does take a day or two to get documents back so be prepared for that. If your like me and need help with copies and correct guidance on your visa package. Across the street is a Visa office. They will do everything you need for you. Copies. Notarize all your documents. She is Thai. Speaks Thai also. The only thing you'll need to do is go get the money for the Visa cost and a separate cost for them for the preparation of your documents. Hope that helps. I stayed overnight in a local hotel. Did some site seeing. Eat some good local foods. Went back the next day and picked up my Visa and all was well. Feel free to ask me more if you need. Sawadee.
They do accept walk-ins
They are open from 9am until 4pm Monday through Friday. Not closed during lunch time but there is reduced staff during that time and a corresponding slow-down in service
I think just call them up. They should be flexable and easy.
You may want to consider obtaining a six month tourist visa. In that way you are not required to report your income to the Thai Authorities as you would in applying for a non-immigrant O-A (retirement) visa. Instructions for applying for all visa categories can be found on the Royal Thai Consulate or Royal Thai Embassy web sites.
Send your name and information to us in order to find it for you.
What do I need if I want to stay longer than 90 days? And can I get it here?
Only street parking
Thai consulate in Los Angeles is very organized. Very clean. Easy to get to. A excellent aid for photos and copies also notary across the street. Thai owned. They speak Thai.
