Once you have an appointment the process to get your passport renewed is very easy and they are very helpful! An advise - make sure to bring a passport photo as requested in the instructions. Unfortunately it is not the same as we use for US passports so make sure to take a measuring ruler or tape with you when having your picture taken. Actually wished they would still do it for you during your appointment as in the past. Merci 😊

The lady who helped me was charming, kind and efficient. I was so grateful for her help. She gave me time and service and I am so grateful to have been helped by her!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! What a pleasant surprise. Apparently Julie Duhaut-Bedos, the French Consul General in Los Angeles, and her team have really breathed new life into this office. The online appointment system worked flawlessly and the subsequent visit really couldn't have been easier. Without exception everyone there was extremely nice, very thorough, and super professional. I had a number of needs, and Sandra and Regis in particular really went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of, and always with a smile. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give this great experience.

I went to renew my passport and Sandra took care of me. She is efficient, professional, all what I would wish for and more. In 10 min I was out all done. If I could give a ten stars I would! Really the process was painless. Nothing in common with the administration bureaucracy I used to experience before! Merci Sandra pour tout.

End of july or early August
I don’t believe so but there’s a Walgreens across the street where you can get your photo taken for you. That’s what I did recently when applying for my French passport.
I got a parking ticket there. Did you too? In 2012 it was $80. That said, I can’t answer your question but I wish you a happy outcome.
Yes, they have to be fingerprint, and you need to get pictures, please look at the Consulat website
Try to contact the Lycée Français on National Blvd
Apostilles are issued by the California Secretary of State. Start by having the document notarized by a local Notary Public near you. Then go online to www.sos.ca.gov and follow their instructions for obtaining an Apostille. Alternatively, google "california apostille", and you will find plenty of companies offering to do it al for you, all for a modestly exhorbitant fee.
Hello Your best bet at thus point is to drive to mexico from los Angeles and book a Flight from there .
Depends on your nationality
Just show at the recruiting center, in Marseille France with and I'd.
What do you mean by proof of vacation? Are you not going on vacation to France?
Your passport should be good for now. Once they change the requirements, you'll need to get a form but that won't be done til I believe 2021..
If you're talking about the Livret de la Famille, you're mother should have one. If not you need to contact the Mairie or city she was born in and request a certified copy. If she has not registered your birth then it's going to be a long process through them and then through the consulate.
You choose the category; French service, Visa, etc. Follow the instructions and choose the date and time. They send you a confirmation by email.
Hi. For me it took 16 days, including Weekends.
Depends on what are you sending..
Forms and requirements are listed on French consulate website
Go to their website. Apply online. Take appointment..then bring all documents to the VFS Global, Avenue of the stars 2nd floor, not far from the consulate building.
2 weeks
Is she french?
I recommend an Ethel Sperling in Santa Barbara, she does everything via email and the consulate recommends her.
Are you a US Citizen? Cause if you and you havent been to Europe all year, you have 90 days as a US citizen to travel visa free.
You have 90 days as a us citizen to visit visa free. If you're staying longer than 90 days then you need a visa.
Check "visa for France" on the website.
Check with the airline and TSA
At the nearest police station, you will receive a "police report number".
Yes but you need to let SS know and give them your French bank info do they can transfer your SS funds
How? I can make an appointment
No. I did not see that when I went. Also, you need an appointment to get in.
