I remember visiting this place when I was younger and having a blast. I drive by often, and the dinosaur outside always catches my eye. My niece is a LOVER of all things dinosaurs and enjoys science all around. So, come her spring break this year (March), I decided to bring her along. She (really, we) had a wonderful time. All of the interactive displays were working and had a description to learn how it all works. She's under 10 and I think that's probably the best ages to attend, as it may be a bit "boring" for older kiddos. The food is alright, but I suggest going through the exhibits and getting a bite outside instead. Also, it's more of a 1x trip. I think they interchange smaller exhibits, such as the bubble fest they were setting up, but I'm not sure if it'd really be worth going again.

First time visit with my family and we all enjoyed the experience. My 3 and 4 year old daughters loved exploring and the overall experience. We spent about 2 hours and it was the perfect amount of time. We arrived about 2:30 on a Saturday and it was not crowded. A few minutes to wait for helicopter tour and laser. I’d recommend families to go if they haven’t already.

Took the kids out to Discovery Cube for the first time. They had a blast and stayed quite busy for several hours. Most of the time was spent in the grocery shopping exhibit where they busily scanned items. Another favorite was the Laser room challenge. They kept going back in line to try and beat their personal time scores. Parents can watch a live feed while the kids play inside the laser room. It was also refreshing to take an outdoor stroll to the dinosaur exhibit and checkout some life sized skeletons. Overall a very engaging outing. Note, be prepared to pay for parking.

BubbleFest at Discovery Cube Orange county, small outdoor activities with wait times between 10-15 minutes on a weekday for each activity. The indoor bubble and laser show is great, arrive early at the auditorium doors upstairs to get good seat if get the general admission tickets online or onsite. Great show nonetheless kids had a blast.

It depends on the person. Lots of stuff for young children, but there are also things that are for all ages. I personally enjoy all of the exhibits (I’m 26). I feel like anyone could visit and feel happy about their time spent here.
Most definitely. Discovery Science Cube is a great place for young kids to learn and explore.
The two year passes for family is very reasonable and good age to introduce kids to sciences
I have had luck either early when they first open or the last couple hours before they close during the week.
I took my 2 and a half year old a few weeks ago and he loved thr dinosaur exhibit. He was happy with the space stuff too. I suggest going early. It gets busy.
Yes
They do let you bring in a ice chest
It's for whoever enjoys it it's geared for kids but I also had a great time, if you enjoy science etc.... you will love it also.
Yes, as everyone has already said, plenty of good food options. Healthy food and quick service items as well.
Yes you may, the only requirement is that you pay... 😎
There aren't many topics about dinosaurs and space, but it's not bad to know some common sense.Very educational.

There is one spot upstairs that has the duplo blocks. But kind of an expensive trip to play with duplos.
This question not for the chat room
Yes sir
I believe it is date of purchase as well
Aside from the regular exhibits, they have recurring seasonal exhibits (like Winter Wonderfest 12/16-17 & 12/22-1/07 [additional charge]) and occasionally special one-time exhibits.
Yes
Yes they do
Yes it is free The kids will have so much fun
Yep! There is signage that everyone must wear a mask since kids can't yet be vaccinated.
Thank you for your email Jonathan. We're looking at this Summer '21. Stay tuned for exact date.
Hi Marco, we're anxiously awaiting approvals from state and county officials. Trust me, we're so eager to open as well. We've moved some great science adventures and information to our new site www.DiscoveryCubeConnect.com
There isn't an aquarium. The best aquarium is the Aquarium of the Pacific.
It depends on what programs they have as they change. Best is to look itinerary on website; aGet Tickets - Discovery Cube OC https://oc.discoverycube.org/get-tickets/
https://oc.discoverycube.org/get-tickets/
No. Not that I know of
Their web site has all the prices for single entrance and membership
Entrance fee-$20 Parking Fee-$5 (WITHOUT YEARLY PASS)
Yes they have tickets
$19.95 for adults $14.95 for kids.
$20 for adults, $15 kids 3-14. Worth the price.
Couldnt have answered better but there are other activities you have that you can pay for the Twenty dollars just covers the general admission to the Bubble Fest Laser Show there are 3D movies you can watch with the Family for like a dollar per movie and you can bring in Outside Food and Drinks like water chips and some snacks
Weekdays the better, morning is good...have fun
Second Saturday of each month I believe
Yes it is. Our 5 year old twin granddaughters love it.
$19.95, $14.95
As far as I know they don't accept out of state museum passes
There is a family night sleep over but it happens on specific dates and is open to the public with registration See their website for more details. You can always call them for something this specific
I don't think 1 year olds are old enough to understand much of what is going on. 2+ or 3+ is better
@chris Gerdes STFU
There won't be much to do there. Some of the Lion Guard exhibit is age appropriate, but there won't be much else. I would wait a year or two.

There is no age limit to attend. Just for prices.
It's $19.95 for adults, $14.95 for children 3-14, free if they are under 3yrs old and it's $150 for 2 years for a family of 6(2 adults and 4 children). Highly recommend going, you wont regret it!
Depends on the 13 year old , all activities over there are science related, and as such there is the can do more with parents aid, my 4 years old sees the world differently than my 6 years old , for example the earthquake simulation for the 4 is a ride, and for my 6 comes with, "why there are earthquakes in California?" That goes to a deeper conversation, so for a 13 years old i would emphasize research on the items and experimentation m a lot more
It's cheaper if you just buy the season pass. If you go twice it's already paid for it's self.
Took us about about an hour and a half my kids were getting a bit bored so we kind of rushed thru..
Right now it's $12.95 if you purchase online. Regularly it's $19.95
I could have sworn the tornado simulator was dow stairs near the wave maker.
There are certain parts that would be fun for a 2 yo. Theres a rocket launch and the dino area. But the target age is probably 4-14
If they have appear to have a scientific itch to scratch, then this would be a good spot. There is one exhibit that is hockey related (cant remeber if you shoot the puck or if your goalie). Any older than 14, and it might be a little boring.
I do t recall if they do or not. But it sounds like they do based on previous answers.
Admission is 20 dlls for adults and 12 dlls for children. Parking costs 6 dlls.
Yes
It's a great place for kids and adults of any age.
Under 3 is $12.95 and seniors are $14.95, 2 and under is free
The website has your answer. It depends on the age. As of 5/2018 Adult $17.95 Children (3-14) $12.95 Children (2 and under) Free Senior (62+) $14.95 There are apart of the ASTC museum group. If you have a membership at a participating museum you may have a discount or free entry to this museum.
It would be suitable for 3 years and up since they charge admission from 3 years old. However, there are exhibits that younger toddlers can start to explore and enjoy.
Adults pay as 30, children less than 3 do not pay only the older ones pay as 22
If you go on their website its under the promotions.
It's additional 5.
The Go'auld would have the ability to create ships to contain many people to be used as slaves for their leaders. Their leader Ra was last seen on Abydos. The Abydonians were convinced to not worship Ra as their god by the help of Daniel Jackson and Col. Jack O'Neil by using the Stargate.
There is a help Desk... But you can always call ahead. They're very helpful:)
Best for preschoolers to 12 year olds, although my teens did find enough to keep them interested for a while.
Since there's no other reference point than the earth time I can't tell you what time is in mars. But we can calculate your weight based on gravity effects, the planet size and your size. 🤗
Free admission for Santa Ana resident is the first Tuesday of the month. Yes, today is free for SA residents.
Adults are $18, kids over 3 are $13. Under 3 are free.
