Depends on the 13 year old , all activities over there are science related, and as such there is the can do more with parents aid, my 4 years old sees the world differently than my 6 years old , for example the earthquake simulation for the 4 is a ride, and for my 6 comes with, "why there are earthquakes in California?" That goes to a deeper conversation, so for a 13 years old i would emphasize research on the items and experimentation m a lot more
Depending on what your 13 year old enjoys. I'm 36 and I have just as much fun there as my 9 yr. Old. If he/she enjoys science and interactive activities they should have a good time. Hope this helps.
No. There is something to do for all ages!
