My two older children are three and four and have both enjoyed it from when they started to walk. Perhaps not every exhibit will be interesting to a three year old, but the rotating feature exhibits will definitely have something for younger kids.
Yes my nephew loved it...it was the only reason we went lol also take your own food or eat before or after. Their cafe is good and healthy but it is pricey.
