Such a magical and fun place! My partner and I did most of the events at Hershey's Chocolate World including "Create your own Candy Bar", "4D Chocolate Movie", "Historical Trolley Works" and "Unwrapped". We also rode the free chocolate factory tour ride. Dirk was a wonderful tour guide for the trolley ride and very knowledgeable! All of the Hershey Chocolate World workers were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our visit. Definitely work checking out!

This place was fun! I was hanging out with my 4 year old nephew and his parents. We had a very nice day here. We started at 9 am when they opened and left around 1pm. It was plenty of time to do everything. We made our own chocolate bars, watched the 4D movie, ate lunch, went on the free tour, did the unwrap your bar, and took lots of pictures.

My husband and I loved our trip to Hershey’s chocolate World, it made me feel like a kid again. We especially loved the historic trolley tour and highly recommend taking the time to do it. If you have several hours to spend, plan in advance and take advantage of the bundled packages. It’s cheaper than buying each attraction individually. We also included our meal as part of the package. It was neat to see several of the menu items include Hershey in some way. It’s also cheaper to book online than waiting till you get to Hershey’s Chocolate World. The advantage of doing so in advance is making sure you can participate in all of the activities that you want while you’re there, they fill up fast. If you purchase the bundle they schedule the time of each event for you. The gift shop is stocked with everything Hershey you can imagine and more.

Visited the park today on 4/13/2022.
WOW, amazing place to spend half a day.
We made our own chocolate, design the packaging, and pick what goes inside.
We watched a 4D movie, with surprise special effect.
We also ride on the historic trolley around the town.
All events provide plenty of chocolate.
Of course, we spent plenty of time shopping for chocolate.
Hershey's Chocolate World has always been a free attraction.
You may want to call or check their website to verify parking costs, if there are any. If there are multiple events at the various complexes (Hershey Park, Giant Arena, Hershey Stadium) parking may be difficult and priced.
No charge to enter the store. The different experiences such as the tour and movie have a change and you'll need to reserve your tickets ahead of time. The have timed entry. You can find the info on the website.
Hershey Chocolate World is free to get in with 3 hours of free parking. There are no adventure rides. There is a ride that takes you on a tour of how chocolate is made. There is also a 3D movie. But all the true adventure rides are at the park.
As of last summer, yes. They are subject to an inspection, as well as purses and handbags. This is for the amusement park. Chocolate world doesn't seem to have such restrictions as of yet.
The King Sized Shakes are available for $13.99. Keep in mind, if you are a Season Pass holder, you get an extra 15% off the price! Plus you can also rinse out and keep the souvenir cup.
3 hours free for chocolate world visitors... if you are going to Hersheypark you need to park at their parking lot, in chocolate world you might be charged $40...
Bring your mask. They take your temperature. When in the store, you have two hours to shop. Before the exit, there are concession stands: ice cream shakes etc. You can either take it with you or go outside and enjoy.
You can try ever candy you like and they let you try some of the candy free yes but it all comes from chocolate world in Pennsylvania yes if you ever go to Pennsylvania go and you will see how it is made and packaged and shipped out
Ticket prices for 1 adult and 1 child range from around $35-$80 or so depending on the adventure package you choose. There's several different options and you also have the choice of a meal add-on for $10 and a trolley add-on for $13. Adult pricing is for ages 13+ and child pricing is for ages 3-12. Have fun!
The Hotel Hershey, the Hershey Lodge and the campsite are owned by Hershey, but there are many other hotel chains to choose from in the Hershey/Harrisburg area in all different price ranges.
A few times I have stayed at some of the hotels by the Harrisburg mall. Cheaper rooms because you are not right in Hershey and the drive to Hershey is short. Plus a lot of good restraunts around Harrisburg.
Hershey Chocolate World has a variety of promotions including the Chocolate World ride, which explains how chocolate candy is made, which is free. Other attractions come with charges.
If you're only going on a Hershey tour you park in a different parking lot and they give you a pass for free. But you have to leave there with him couple of hours. If you are going to Hershey Park you can walk over to the tour from there. there are activities inside that you can pay for if you want to do the extra thanks but other than that the tour is free. At the end of the tour they give everyone a mini Hershey bar!
You can spend an hour to four hours in Chocolate World. There is the ride/tour, sit down eating, shopping, 4D movie, make your own chocolate, and a lot of photo opportunities.
The website has all the dates and times. Just look up Hershey's Chocolate World and then look for "winter", be careful not to confuse the Breakfast with Santa and Pictures with Santa times.
Yes it's open on those days and the actual entrance is free. There are activities you can select but these have associated costs. The ride telling the Hershey Chocolate products and the from cocoa bean to the various products is free. It is handicap accessible too. There are products for sale and a variety of merchandise for sale too. There is a bakery and several food options available. You can park free for up to four hours with parking charged afterwards.
Can you get gift certificates for the attractions in chocolate world. Example i would like one for the 4 D show?

Chocolate world is open today. It is free to get in. The ride is free as well. There are other experiences like create your own candy bar, a 4d movie and so on that costs extra.
Yrs u can. It is a fun activity but the most expensive one they offer. It is kind of neat to see the process and custom design the outer sleeve. However, I was not super impressed. The selection of items to put inside are fairly limited. Also after the top coat is added, it is almost too much chocolate. I would still recommend it as a fun family activity. And the kids had a blast!
You may not. The tickets correspond with the workforce necessary to accomodate the tour groups per guide. :- /
They fill groups with the individual ticket sales count.
When we were there, it was raining heavily. However we had Niagara Rain Cover. Fortunately we didn't throw it. Help came thru we could make it from the heavy parking lot to the main place. We enjoyed the evening and Hershey park.
Yeah u can make a candy bar. Choose the chocolate, then up to 3 toppers on the bar base. Out of of 6 options. You then get to watch it get made. All bars made though get covered with milk chocolate. And then u design a keepsake tin/label for the candy bar. Fun and no advanced tickets needed.
I think it depends on how busy it is and how many things you want to do while there. If you go just to ride the free ride and do a little shopping, probably only an hour or two. If you are going to do the other things there too, it might take all day.
I believe that will not cover much. For one person a meal is generally 13.00. You may be able to get a slice of pizza and a soda. Food is a bit pricey here
They sell every kind of chocolate made & sold in the US made by Hershey company! It is like candy/chocolate heaven walking into the front doors of Chocolate World!
Chocolate World is Free, its a very cool 5-7 min ride through a "factory." It shows you the whole process, is aimed at any age, and has an informative video along with music throughout the tour. Best thing is that you sit and ride in a car on a track, you don't even need to walk it!!! The biggest Bonus is the free Hershey product at the end of the tour! Makr sure you check out the Chocolate World shop afterwards, they have any Hershey product you can imagine along with souvenirs. There is also a place to eat at, must try the Hershey Milkshake while you are there! Plan on spending an hour total at Chocolate world for the tour and shopping. They have additional make your own candy bar and 4D theatre which both have cost associated. If you do any of these, plan on staying an extra hour, enjoy!!!!!!
We bought package of everything at once, and had pretty tight schedule, so had no time to even snack on anything. But there is a beautifull food court there.
You can also find them on the website or you can contact them directly they're very helpful it's a wonderful idea give it to me a couple of times always found enjoyable
Not for Chocolate world where you buy chocolate and souvenirs. There are several attractions inside that you have to buy tickets. (Trolley ride around Hershey, making your candy bar, a cute movie, and taste experience). For Christmas they have built a house out of chocolate!! Absolutely Beautiful!!
Trolley Tour was very informative, Chocolate World yummy. Hershey Gardens and Butterfly Garden just beautiful. The amusement park was closed the day we were there. The visit was well worth it.
