Please some report this agency. They collect your information and then turn you away. I wonder if they are receiving federal funding.

Absolutely fantastic service. I worked with Bhavesh, who helped a lot. Even though I didn't get the results I wanted, I am glad to know about this group.
Denise Penfield
Very helpful when needing legal advice. Even though I discussed filing for bankruptcy last year they still help me this year.

Inquired online for help with CalFresh. Got a quick response the following day. After that, it was hard to get ahold of the person who originally helped me. After 3 weeks of trying, finally got ahold and made an appt to speak to an attorney. Worse mistake. Couldn’t get the name of the attorney because he spoke too fast and kept talking over me. Asked me a few questions and determined and sided with the CalFresh my income was too high and cannot be helped. Proceeded to keep telling me I make too much and I’m over the limit even when I have not spoken a few words. He was very rude and unprofessional. Heard him the first time but did not tell me how he could help me or what I can do but kept saying things to make me feel like I couldn’t be helped.

I assisted my elder neighbor years ago. Perhaps it is similar now. 1. We called Legal Aid and inquired for help with Bankruptcy. 2. They cleared her income and address as eligible for services. 3. We were attended a Bankruptcy Workshop. 4. Clients sat around a table; Given an overview of the process. A thick packet titled Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. 5. Clients had a list of debts they owed; last letters from debtors. 6. All filled it out papers together, line by line, informally, each casually asking questions as needed, until we reached the end, understood attachments & ID required and which debts are eligible (student loans Not). 7. Gathered their papers, attachments, income verification and fee waivers took it to the Federal Court to file. 8. A letter arrived probably a month+ later with a date and time of hearing. 9. The SHOCKER: It was 100% painless, took all of 5 minutes. The gavel sounded and then it's over. The court knows. They've been doing this a long time!
Hello Ms. Housepain, please call our Intake and Assessment Hotline telephone number, 800-834-5001. They can determine your eligibility for our services, which are free of charge if you qualify.
Yes they can plus Courts have a Help Room I went to both.
Mu suggestion is to call a paralegal that handles divorces. Providing niether of you have property your disputing over or child custody. Uf you both jyst want a clean split, a paralegal can file the paperwork to the court for you. You may not even have to go coury at all. Community legal aid may able to help you with this. They do not however handle litigation Many blessings
I like your spirit. Anybody who wants to sue a corporation especially a insurance Company will be needing alot more than legal aid. I have no idea what the problem is but good luck with that.

Just file for bankruptcy if the total amount is over 10 grand. No credit card company will go after you after you file for bankruptcy. If you owe less than 10 grand, just pay it off. Trust me, bankruptcy is not as bad as it sounds and can give you peace of mind

First they need to try n serve you personally in your hand and if after 3 times they still are unable to personally serve you they may do a substitute of service to someone you live with or work with over age of 18 yrs old and then if they do that the server also must mail a prepaid first class stamp on an envelope with summons & complaint to Defendant enclosed, and IF they are unsucessful trying daily that route for 10 days they may ask the court after proof of necessary steps taken and still un sucessful to serve anyone papers they may request an Order to Post and mail from the court or judge to serve you that way.
I am not sure if they do that, call them! I was just a client and they didn't do anything for me! Sorry,

luna, sorry to hear your struggles. please contact the legal aid via phone or email. be dilligent, as they may not respond immediately. you will need to qualify financially to get thrir help. please check the website listed. all the best to you
As long as you are low income yes i think they can help you.
S B don't worry Eviction are so easy to fight in court but you have to know What to say to a judge and on Paper work. Call legal aid and press One I think that's the Option to check if you qualify for free legal aid very easy . Have ready your income to say you dont need to show them proof just a verbal saying of your income and I think your rent amount. If you qualify Then they let you speak to 3 attorneys for free 30 mnts. I've done it all. You get the attorney's private cell phone number which I was surprised. Then have ready your questions and paper and pencil write down all they tell you. Then if you not satisfied call Legal aid again and they give you another 3 attorney's number. But if you dont qualify they can still give you attorney's referral numbers. In the State of California tenants are Protected by a lot of Laws ask Attorney's or a Para Legal. 1st. A LandLord has to give you a Proper Written Legal Notice to leave property. Go to Court they Have Help Center in there
What address is Mrs. Dunia Abrego looking for? I am Rosemary, maybe I can help you
You need to call and ask.
Hi Sue thank you for reaching out but I am not with the legal aid I just posted information about how they were able to help me. You would have to contact them or check their website to see what they would be capable of doing. Give me the questions let me know. Sincerely, Denise
Hey Ron you are best to have an appointment so double check their website about doing so in advance. Also you can check to see if you qualify financially for their legal assistance because if you don't then they will not help you.
Call them.
Yes, call them. They will be happy to help.
Call then u will not get free legal advice this way. We that answer questions do not work for them not are we attornies.
I would Google the best you can but I will also check the law library in Santa Ana if you needed to. I would say no it's yours.
Probably a scam. Process servers do not call and make announcements.....they just show up. U can block restricted #'s.....block them!
Again, am not an attorney, but the self help center at courthouse would be a good place to start.
There are agencies that can help him but he needs to reach out. He can get bus tickets or possibly a bus pass so he can make his appointments. He should probably call his probation officer to see what to do and explain why he wasnt going in. He should ask if he should turn himself in, but either way he needs to make things right and not get in any deeper. He will never be able to find a job unless he does this. Good luck to both of you.
Here is something that may help you: http://www.courts.ca.gov/1014.htm Collect Your Judgment Print Español If you win the case and the judge issues a judgment in your favor, you can collect your judgment. You cannot start collecting until: The time to appeal runs out (30 days after entry of the judgment); or If there was an appeal and you won, after the appeal decision (judgment) is sent back to the small claims court, usually about 10 days after the appeal decision. The court will not collect the money for you. But the court will issue the orders and other documents you may need to collect your judgment from the debtor (the party that owes you money). Keep in mind that not all judgments are collectible because the debtor may not have any income or property of value.
Ms. Rodriguez, you can contact our Hotline number. It is 1-800-834-5001.
Three day notice to quit or leave and 30 day notice to vacate
Call one of the non-profits that ask for cars, running or not. They'll tow it away and you might get a small tax deduction.
They will help you with the problem. Bring any documentation and pics.
