The only time the lighthouse its self is open is when they are full staffed. There is a sign that explains that at the gift shop half way up. Masks are required due to new state guidelines that you must be masked even outside. It's a lovely walk and takes about 20 mins. The views from the top are gorgeous on a sunny day. You do have to pay the day pass, but for 5 bucks you can go on any state park so it is worth it if you're tripping around for the day. We also went to the Doons and our pass worked there so keep track of it. Oregon coast is magnificent, so enjoy it! 😉

No, the lighthouse is closed but you can still walk up to it. Masks required and you have to pay $5 for the day to park down by the beach.

We were there 2 weeks ago and only the bottom of the light house was open. Couldn't go up the stairs. Masks were required.
