A very beautiful hike down with tall trees that have only tops so you can see far up/wide with hidden trails for kids A private beautiful beach with fresh water coming out of cliff rock and the ocean is warm and safe for your kids to play there are little sea life hiding in the rocks

A fun trail hike with a couple of peek-a-boo ocean sightings that ends at the Lighthouse. Uphill in several spots so you definitely get your heart pumping but it's not a difficult trail. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful trail that winds through wooded coastal Oregon with amazing views of the ocean. Wish people did not widen the trail by trampling the underbrush during wet, muddy times. There is some erosion damage from this. Parking is across the highway so careful of traffic. Love the name of the trail, too!

Extremely beautiful landscape. World class views. Hike is fairly easy heading to the beach. Coming back isn't too bad either. We'll work the scenery. The beach the trail leads to has absolutely stunning views as well. Hit the thumbs up icon if you agree, have been, or love the Hobbit Trailhead. Thanks!

Maybe half a mile, if that. The trail to the lighthouse is maybe 1.5-2 miles, but it's a lot more difficult than it would seem. Lot's of elevation change.
You can get a state park permit online. It takes about a week to get the plastic placard to arrive but you can print a temporary version immediately.
