There is no longer public access to the interior of the Lighthouse.
I believe that is one you can climb the stairs and look up into the top. But not go all the way. It was beautiful if it's the same one. We saw so many last fall I can't remember all the names, sorry. Check to see when they are open first.
If you make it up north, the Astor Column has stairs all the way to the top, no light but you can see amazing views.
Not allowed inside right now. The ranger said maybe in a few months
From 11 to three they are doing tours. We just missed going inside but I don't know if you can get to the light. Sorry. I didn't see any age restrictions either. We spent quite a bit of time there reading everything and never noticed anything about any age. U would enjoy 😁
Currently I don't believe you are allowed to go up the stairs, they are making repairs, but when I was there last week, you could not go up to the light. Umpqua River lighthouse which is about 50 miles south has tours of the lighthouse including going up to the light.
I think it varies by season. I've been there when they allowed us to climb to just below the lens, not into the lens area. I was there two months ago and they weren't doing tours of the tower at all.
