Go to the CAC office with at least 2 forms of valid ID. Your primary has to be an unexpired photo ID and the secondary can be a birth certificate or social security card. Unexpired is the key word here, your expired CAC will not work, but a valid passport, state ID, or driver's license will. Try to get in early if you don't have an appointment. The staff is generally very friendly and helpful.

Go to the base with your papers and Re new it if you're papers or in order you will not have a problem.
