Alyssa's comment is objectively wrong. Burgers are $10 with fries and beers are comparably priced with any restaurant. This is near half the cost of any resort on I70. Additionally, the bunny hill is brand new and nowhere close to steep... And to answer your question, there's a new lounge in the chalet to watch TV and relax by the fire while your kid snowboards.
I'd bring a book. Maybe a thermos and snacks. Also a flask but I'd be a terrible mother.
Bring a good book or a laptop, tablet, iPad. But be sure to watch and take pictures, you'll really enjoy yourself!
Food is priced great. Views are amazing and there are always friendly people there to talk with.
Or read. And super expensive is like $12 for a burger and fries. Not expensive for a mountain meal.
Nice quite time ..my daughter 15, has a season pass. I cannot board... she cannot drive..yet😊 I connect and work from the bar area. I cannot connect from the fireplace side. I also bring a book because my daughter likes to go for hours. Food is great. We had the chili last time and it was delicious.
The food is reasonably priced but you really can't eat all day. I get a pretty decent signal in some spots from Verizon up there so you can work, check email, etc.. If you want entertainment for the non-skier, you might consider taking him to Walt Disney Vail for 5x the price.
