This was a great trail. The road going up was definitely rougher than the trail though, nothing my stock Jeep JKU with 33" All terrains couldn't handle. Just steep and rocky, but really fun to drive. When we got to the beginning of the …

Beautiful area if you get your rig up there. Doable in the more capable stock 4x4 body on frame SUV/Trucks, but can be a little squirrely at times. Very likely you may get some superficial dings, or potentially light dragging depending on how rocks shift. It's all worthwhile for the views for sure.

This is more of a trail for AWD off roading. We walked a small part of it and the road is very loose, steep and rocky which made it difficult to walk. It took us almost a half hour to drive from the bottom road just up to rock house so I would think it would take 1.5 to 2 hours to hike up that first part. Just to Rock house is 2 miles one way and 1100 feet of elevation gain.
