Bathrooms cleaned daily (vault toilets). Well maintained campsites. $23 a night, $15 for seniors. It is first come first serve, so they do fill up quickly. We arrived at 4pm on a Thursday and claimed one of the last spots. Quick drive to Mt. Bierstadt in the morning.

This was a lovely campground that was well maintained. It was perfect for my small trailer setup. I highly recommend a visit. The spot had a faint cell signal also.

Depends heavily on day of the week and season/holidays. For weekends during busy seasons I'd say getting to the campsite by 5AM by the latest would be safe
There are plenty of stops in the area for day use along the road near the campsite. First come, first serve. The actual campsite isn't intended for day use and you'll have to pay to use it. Also, it''s a free country, bring your dog.
I dont know about the pay sites I camped a free first come first serve site
We did find first come first serve sites at some of the other camping areas on guanella pass however the actual guanella pass campground was still close when we were there on the weekend of june 7th
Just down the road back towards Georgetown there is
We stayed here in June 2019. The confirmation documents we received listed check-in as 2:00 p.m. and check-out as 1:00 p.m.
The campground is open with a 'first come, first serve basis' after Labor Day though September 9th. I suppose that the reason that reservations are not accepted after labor Day is due to acceptable weather conditions.
Yes some of them were
Yes you can camp with your pop up camper. There are spots for travel trailers too.
There is one tent pad at each tent site. There are no community tent sites.
Yes. We pulled our very large pop-up to Guanella Pass and had no problems. We did it in summer when there was no risk of snow or ice. If sub-zero temps are an issue, be forewarned. Otherwise you're fine.
Depending on which site you are looking for. $25-$30 unless you are a senior citizen
Both, some of the spots are reserveable online, some are first come first serve.
Are you thinking of the campground down at the beginning of the drive towards Idaho Springs? If so it's called Cottonwood RV Park
