This campground is not to big only 8 plus or so but each area allows up to 8 people. Has a fire pit. A public restroom, and potable water. Not my first choice for camping I prefer finding my own spot but it was ok.

Great campground and David the host goes above and beyond to make the place nice. There is a buzz you can hear from the power generation station near the campground. Other than that, it’s perfect.

Not sure why there's so many 5 star reviews. This campground is old and needs big improvements. The pit toilets are old style and stink badly even though they're cleaned daily. The road is very rough, large pot holes everywhere. An xcel …

Great campground, but you have to reserve and pay in advance. It's better to get there early so you can assure yourself a place. The camping spots are designated and you have to park your place in the designated area and put your tent too.

Uh no
Yes, but you still have to pay the campsite fee.
Stage 1 Fire Restrictions right now. I would recommend looking up what that all encompasses. But part of it is that you can only have a campfire within the metal fire ring at an established Forest Service campground.
No showers
Agreed with Mike. The campground a little further south would have more room to accommodate an RV, however they are reservation only. Guenella Pass campground is what you're looking for to place a reservation.
It's possible, we went two weekends ago and got a spot! It's first come first serve so obviously the earlier the better
I wouldn't swim in it, as it is very cold snowmelt runoff but I think you can fish and have a boat without a motor on it, like kayaking.. Have fun be safe :)
I have never seen camping around the lake area. I don't believe that it is allowed. There are however several camp sites further up Guanella Pass Road that you can use and are within walking distance from the lake.
Check with Forest Service. No room at campground but on roads??
1. No, this campground is strictly first come, first serve. 2. $17 per night, $7 for an additional vehicle at the campsite. 3. No minimum, but I believe you can stay a max of 14 days. Cheers.
first come first serve. you cannot make a reservation before your arrival to campsite.
