Very beautiful trail up to the lake with scenic Mountain Views. A waterfall awaits you at the top. Bring plenty of sunscreen AND bug spray!! The mosquitoes were so bad. Be cautious of the road to get to the top. It’s only for 4x4 and off-road vehicles. Very narrow (one way traffic usually) and difficult to drive

It may be prohibited. Check with the ranger station for sure.
Not a car. You need a fairly aggressive 4 wheel drive to get to the lake, as the road is very rocky and steep in stretches. A crossover SUV might make it, but I'd recommend something higher clearance.
