This was a super cute place that entertained our family for a whole afternoon. I was Leary of the cost vs. enjoyment but it was worth it. The young man who working there was pleasant, helpful, brought us umbrellas when it started to rain, …We are so glad your family enjoyed the visit Maureen! MJ enjoyed teaching a new angler some tricks.

This is an excellent place to take kids fishing. Just about guaranteed to catch something. They have all the equipment to rent if needed, or you can bring your own. They also have a cleaning station and will even give bags and ice for your catch. Definitely recommend. We are so glad your family enjoyed Mt. Evans Trout Fishing, Mike! We'd love to see you again, anytime.

Yes we will be open starting 9 AM on Memorial Day!
Hi! It applies to all ages, but only those who will be fishing! Adults who are helping children won't be charged. The office will ask for this info upon check-in, so just be sure to tell them how many are fishing.
We are open every day this summer from 9 to 5! We must follow all distancing guidelines from the Governor, so we have the space to allow about 7 fishing groups at a time, but this can vary due to size of groups and is left to our employee's discretion. We are not currently taking any reservations.
We are closed for the year. We'll re-open in the spring around April/May depending on the weather.
Brown trout are found in several areas aroind the Rocky Mountains.
You do not have to have a fishing license since we are privately owned! We charge 3.00 per person "lake permit" to cover operating costs of the pond. Additional prices can be seen on our website!
We are open, 9AM to 6PM everyday!
