Thanks Patrick . I know the entrance was on the west side of the cave overlooking the town ,and you were escorted by a guard . Supposed to have used by the military way back in the day .Thanks everyone for clearing that up .

How much are the salt lamps there?

Michael Byerly | Aug 7, 2018

Where you drove your semi is The Marengo Warehouse & Distribution Center. This used to be The Hy-Rock Product's Quarry. I too have driven a semi in there. Marengo Cave just has walking tours.

You are thinking about the Marengo warehouse. Its an old limestone quarry turned into a warehouse. That is actually across the town from the walk through caves.

Tammy McKinney | Aug 7, 2018

No this cave is not now nor ever used for that purpose. There is a man-made system in Marengo that is used for that still.

Marty Shelton | Aug 7, 2018

What you drove into delivering was the old limestone quarry in downtown Marengo, not Marengo Cave

Enid Gangler | Aug 7, 2018

No these are ealk through caves.

Kenn “FitzFlaad” Stewart | Aug 7, 2018

You must be thinking of another cave system. Perhaps the caves under Louisville Kentucky. No way you could ever drive a semi into Marengo.

Mike Stevens | Aug 7, 2018

The warehousing is in the old Marengo Quarry.
