This place is absolutely Gorgeous. We went on a Tuesday late afternoon. We had the place to ourselves. It’s beautiful and well worth the adventure. A must see!!

I can describe this any better than you have to see it for yourself, the colors of the water, the way it just comes out from beneath the rock face. Its an amazing place to visit. Plus there is camping on site. Rustic and full service sites. Hot and cold showers on site and group camps for larger parties. Got to the national forest service for more info and camping reservations. There are activities with the park rangers as well where they will take u on a tour and explain this one of a kind place. Its so worth the drive I recommend this to anyone with an affinity for nature. This is a place kids would love to come visit as well, there are places to have picnics and places for the kids to play, lots of shade and plenty of parking.

Beautiful! Amazing how the underground water system flows and then appears here at Big Spring. No swimming, no wading, no nothing! Stay out of the water. You can dip your na hands in and feel how cool the water is tho! Worth a visit, it's free, it's interesting and it's educational. There are also long trails that you can walk and enjoy nature and the woods. Bring water if you are going to walk the longer trails and take your trash with you!
