Showed up 2hrs late due to truck issues, and was put in a door right away. I was unloaded within 1hr with a full trailer load. Thank you Bianca for working with me and sorry for being late. Need to back in street. It's definitely doable.

I’ve been volunteering at the LA Food Bank for about 2 years now and I love this place. I’m there very Saturday and it’s like my home away from home...lol. The staff there are great hard workers. The vibe there is very loving and friendly. This place is a great blessing from God. I encourage others to come join and be apart of this mighty blessing.

Church contact department of agriculture
It is a place where they receive a lot of food to distribute to those in need, and many volunteers go to help sort out the items.

I went here not too long ago. They're a distribution center, so you don't actually get food from here, but the supervisor is super nice. He gave me a list of directions and opening hours for all of the food banks near me and I was able to find a place just down the road from where I live. To save gas, I'd recommend calling them, instead of showing up like I did.
Yes, but they only distribute to agencies who then distribute to those in need. The easiest ways to find public foodbanks is to call a local organization, such as Catholic Charities or the Salvation Army. You can also try calling 211 or use their website at 211la.org

The food bank does not distribute food directly to individuals. It distributes food to local organizations that then have places to pick up food or to distribute it depending upon the organization. I think you could contact the food bank to find out what organization is the best one for you to contact to help you.
No!! You have to have your on transportation.. if you are in attendance with your church maybe if you have a van, you might want to ask to use it for that purpose or start a foodbank like we at Bryant Temple Church have been doing for years
