That time of year is very iffy at higher elevations. If we get much snow camo the roads were closed at the higher elevations or the be unpassable. Alternatively, they get very icy and risky to drive on with the really season snow fall. At lower elevations you should be good to go.
If your wo dering about road closures you can go online and check usually there are definitely closures every year at higher elevations. Just depends where you want to honeymoon in the forest. Hope this helps
The only road closure I saw was the road that passes lake McDonald over the pass. I guess it is due to elevation and they get snow that early. Everything else was very accessible without the mad rush of people the experience in summer. Keep in mind a lot of shops are closing down at this time for the winter. This is absolutely one of the most beautiful times to visit that park. Colors are changing, a little cool, but breathtaking. Congratulations and hope you enjoy!
