Excellent views of several 14ers, multiple access points via some well marked (and some not so well marked) trailheads. A great place for a hike lasting hours to several days.

The forest is open 24/7 .. Sometimes the road into the Escalante side is impassable when wet.. but all roads are closed from january 1 to May 31. ATV and snowmobile access is 24/7 365... Be prepared for FUN !!!
