I would call them as there was a news release that the trails are closed due to increased bear activity. I don't know if that has changed yet.
You should be able to hike.
We were there on July 4th and July 6th. No Trails were closed. No bears spotted.
As of 6/25/2018 the park is open but Cabin Creek Trail is closed and part of a horse trail.
The trail doesn't close...ever. Only the park in winter weather maybe. Which is the road needed to take to trailhead.
