I took the Volunteer Trail out to Backcountry Campsite #1. It is not marked on Google Maps but it is 200 yards from campsite #2. Great views of the lake on the trail. Sometimes I lost track of the path but there are a ton of blazes on trees so I was able to find it again. The campsite was nice and clean. Great waterfront view.

9 miles North in Providence.
Yes, it is wonderful there. They have plenty of trees for shade. Plenty of grills. Only negative thing i can think of is the bathroom is to far from swim area. Also it looks very scary wouldnt let my wife go to restroom by herself
Dropped my IPhone 8 Plus white off the bluff white taking a photo June 10th and it’s possible that it washed up on the shore area if any find it please contact me Via Email.
They do not have cabins.
Yes. Camping is allowed on the volunteer trail. It's best to reserve via the website. There's only a few spots.
From the park website: "No pets are allowed in either Bryant's Grove Recreational Area nor Area 2 of the Couchville Recreation Area. Pets are not permitted on the following trails: Bryant Grove Trail, Couchville Lake Trail and the Nature Loop Trail. Pets on leashes are permitted on all of the other trails."
Long Hunter SP is a day use park. Park hours are 7AM until sunset, gates open at 7AM gates lock at sunset. You will need to check the sunset chart for accurate times. Park hours do not change with seasonal changes.
We only have back country (tent) camping which involves a 5.5 mile hike to the primitive campsites. No electricity, running water or restrooms but the campsites are located on the shoreline of Percy Priest Lake.
We have a couple of primitive backpacking campsites. It is a 5.5 mile walk to the campsite, reservations can be made online at https://reserve.tnstateparks.com/long-hunter/campsites If you are looking for a campsite to drive to and park, the nearest state park will be Cedars of Lebanon State Park, or go to TN State Parks website www.tnstateparks.com or you can check the camping availability on Percy Priest Lake www.recreation.gov
04/15, The Inland Trail, (Upper Bluff Area), Shoreline Area and Bryant Grove Rec Area, Jones Mill is open. Other areas are closed due to flood damage.
I would contact the park rangers office. To the best of my knowledge I dont think your allowed.
Yes, we have a mountain bike trail located at 9957 Barnett Road, Mt Juliet, TN 37122.. You will see a sign on the road side "Jones Mill Mountain Bike TrailL. If you have any questions call the visitor center at 615-885-2422
Are you referring to the temporary closures during the day? If the volunteer trail parking lot is closed, first, you should check in/visit the visitor center, let the clerk know you are a camper with a reserved campsite. She can help. The park ranger at the gate probably cant help you at the moment due to safety precautions.
We have primitive back country camping. It requires a 5.5 mile walk to get to the campsite, no water, restrooms or electricity. You can go to LHSP's website for more information https://tnstateparks.com/parks/campground/long-hunter , you can also reserve online or call the park office 615-885-2422
There are uncovered picnic tables by the playground. There are covered tables by a pavilion behind the restrooms.
Cliff jumping is not permitted @ Long Hunter SP. The designated swimming area is located at the Bryant Grove Rec Area.

Yes, the path around the smaller lake is completely paved for casual use or specifically for strollers. You'll also find a variety of wildlife and it's all under trees.

Daily during the summer. Park closes at dark but I think the rentals may close earlier.
All of them! We were there yesterday walking thr Couchville trail. its a 2 mile paved walk. There's plenty of other easy non paved, and more medium to hard trails available too.
They don't have a pool, I haven't seen a swimming area, but if they have one, it's free.
Not that i had seen . I would suggest going to the web site or call to get the correct info
call & ask cuz not all park allow drones
The park in general doesn't allow pets so if i had to guess, I'd say no. I suppose they could be making an exception for the special event but I didn't see anything about pets on the signage and I was just there yesterday. I know that's not a definitive answer but I hope it's someone helpful! Regardless, have fun at the pow wow!
I think it was around 8 dollars.
