Very nice and clean park. We attended one of the ranger talks about the pony express, very interesting. Dog friendly park, but cannot take the dog into the museum.

We went recently (October) and this park is GORGEOUS and has some amazing views of the mountainside. Fun for kids to run around, clean bathrooms, lots of picnic areas, and great lil small town feel.

Yes you can have a wedding there! Reservation times open sometime in January. You can only reserve the stockades or family picnic area for a certain time block and on certain months. Just give Park Ranger Chris Johnson a call and he can further answer all questions!
