Do they take in stray kittens with tapeworms? Ive heard that these types of worms can be transferred over to humans. Im kinda scared but i dont want to just throw him back outside.

Yes. They will treat him and get him into the adoption scene. There is kitten wormer at HEB, too. Pretty much all kittens get worms while they are learning to clean themselves. As long as you keep your hands washed between handlings, you wont get the worms yourself.
