Why are the seats in the imax theater worse than the seats in standard theater if I’m paying more for imax. Makes no sense. Need to have the same seats in all theaters

Dolby has power recliners. The imax seats are mandated by imax not AMC.

I thoroughly agree with you. And I don't know why remodel hasn't happened there. I bought IMAX tickets one-time I came out the movie theater. I never bought IMAX tickets again because of that same reason. The IMAX is only for sound and the seat are the worst, at least at this AMC location.
