Rude, Rude, Rude! There is only one staff member with good customer service. Everyone else is horrible, including the rent a cop. Sir calm down its a tags office. They never open on time but want to make sure not to let anyone in close to closing time.

There was a long line at the door because they’re only letting people in as long as there is an available chair inside, there only 5 chairs. It was 98 degrees outside and we stood in line for about 30 minutes. When a chair freed up I walked in and a lady starter yelling from behind the counter for us to go back outside because a man that had who filed something wrong had to wait for another window. This was very rude and unprofessional of her.

Yes you can pay whith debit or credit card
Reginald, everything needs to match. If it was in both your names you would be good, but not in just hers. This is a good thing. Imagine if you guys were getting divorced and you change the car registration without her and steal the car.
You have to have a signed paper from your doctor which you get at DMV. Once it's signed by your doctor, you can take it in and get your placard

Yes
I would say call the tag office first but I do know you need insurance on it first, two pieces of mail with the address, your driver's license and the title
Nope. Mon - friday only Monday and tuesday they closed late at 0630 pm but any otherday they closed at 0430 pm
I don't know the answer to that
I don't think they perform road tests at this location. This is just a satellite location...renewals and registrations only. You may have to go to Jonesboro city hall area
Call the Tag Offices or go to the Clayton County website. You can verify all documents needed.
Not at this location
Sorry to hear that. Well you can ask but probably would be best if you got the funds together and repaired it.
No its not
You will have to go into the tag office as I dont see an option online for this service.
If you bought the vehicle from a private seller you will need to come into the tag office to apply for a hard tag. If you bought froma dealer, then the dealer is responsible for applying for the hard tag which will come in the mail within 45 days.
Not with a police report...
Applicants who wish to replace a lost placard must complete the Disabled Person's Parking Affidavit and submit it in person to the local county tag office.
It depends if you on where you bought the car ! If you bought it from a dealer you paid the advalorum if not you will have pay that plus title transfer
Emissions is required every year for vehicle more than 2 years old and all you will need is your driver's license. If the address on your license is not a Clayton County address then you will need to go to the county your license reflects. If you are new to the county then you will need change your address on your license
Yes but they charge a 2.5% fee
Yes and they charge a fee
Can range from $20 to several hundreds....there are many factors to consider.
Yes you can pick it up for him. But you will need his ID
No they observe the same guidelines as the government, they will reopen on Wednesday
No, unfortunately they won't allow it, you can only get the tags at any tag office within your county of residence.
No Disability permits are free.

Go to one of Clayton co driver license renewal offices and bring proof of residence ( utility bill in your name) and birth certificate and if your name has changed, marriage certificate.
