It is possible to keep him there as he would have better monitored care than being in the room. That being said, the hospital does have a grievance procedure. Ask for the Nurse Supervisor. That person is the one that will take the grievance and see that things get done. Sadly, UPMC Jameson does not relay much to the patient or family members when things go wrong. They have to wait for a need to open up. It surprises me that they get beds to open up in the middle of the night, they must do late discharged or something. Since he is not admitted yet, get him out of there and take him to a different hospital. UPMC Jameson is the worst hospital I've ever experienced
