I came in to rule out a blood clot. Instead of drawing blood and sending a ultrasound tech in. The doctor tried couldn't do it. Did not really ask any questions but stated on note he did full exam. I went to another hospital where the blood work showed I had a blood clot and the doctor put me on the correct medication. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to my worst enemy. They treat you like you are a burden rather than a patient who comes in for help.

Everyone was so kind and willing. I have a broken ankle and using crutches for more than several hundred feet becomes tiring. From the valet to receptionist to health care gatherer and to the ultrasound technician, all were very helpful and willing. Thanks!

Integris Southwest Medical Center has a Senior Mental Health Unit, designed to care for seniors with Mental Health Disorders and/or dementia. Integris Mental Health Spencer (a Campus of Integris Baptist Medical Center) houses the Mental health units for Children, Adolescents, and Adults. In addition Integris Decisions Day Treatment offers a partial hospitalization and/or intensive outpatient therapy. Integris Decision is located near Integris Baptist. In the event of psychiatric emergency call 911 or take the patient to the nearest emergency room. Once in the ER, the patient is examined by the medical doctor and then will be evaluated by a mental health. If they determine hospitalization is necessary, arrangements will be made to get them a bed in a Mental Health Unit and provide transportation.
You have a right to request a second opinion on the diagnosis and treatment plan. My personal opinion is that you should ask for a referral to an infection specialist or internist specialized in dermatology. My prayers are with you.
