Horrific! Wednesday night ER 5 - about 7:45 I ran there terrified with my 30 year old daughter as she was falling down, dizzy, spinning Got there place empty so assume won’t be long. My daughters so dizzy starts falling forward out of chair so I grab her and lower her as to not have her crash down. I run to nurses First one “ she didn’t fall, she’s ok” Second one “ pick her up” I ask third one can an aide help me get an aide to get her up ( I’m 70 with a noticeable bad limp) They say no and give me a wheelchair and leave us. When she goes in they say I can come in a few minutes when she’s settled. Later told no one can come in which turned out a lie! 1/2 hr I ask and am told be patient 45 minutes again and now security guard joins in yelling be patient as a kind woman films him. StrAngers filming at this point as front entrance guard screaming at me trying to intimidate to be patient. 1 hr I ask to know anything. “Be patient” 1 hr 15 minutes I ask for nurse supervisor as my child on serious meds for a different issue and say to her “I am begging you for 5!!! Minutes to assure her as she has , as you can see from meds, a serious anxiety disorder. She says “ your daughter is fine” I say has she been given meds as my daughter texts me they will take her for a cat scan and begging for 5 minutes to help her get Thru this” One nurse yells Thru door names of meds she’s been given. I ask if she can write them down for me as she turns away. I show the text to nurse supervisor who lies to me and says “ your daughter is not alone and very calm” as I look up and see my hysterical , sobbing daughter staggering out of her room alone. She signed herself out and we left. A few weeks ago I was there with my mom, daughters dad and my husband all since COVID and waited in room with all. They punished her for me being angry no one would help me pick her up and didn’t allow 5! Minutes to help get calm down. You could hear her sobbing out in waiting room so they shut door. I called head nurse when I got home to ask why she lied to me and she did not even know my daughters name !!! Luckily many kind people were so disturbed by this scene filmed , comforted me and one even said to security guard in front “ you are watching tv, this lady wants info , it’s her child” He yells at her too - her child is an adult which is true but alone and so sick I am just begging for 5 minutes!!!

Went their for multiple bee stings, and im highly allergic. I was bit on the upper lip and arms. Last time I was bit on the ankle, my tongue and throat swelled up. I went into the emergency entrance at dobbs ferry St johns ER, and a huge security guard told me I had to wear a mask. They cared more about covid than the actual emergency i was facing. Heart attack? Mask! Stroke? Mask! Cant breathe? Mask! Anaphylaxis? Mask! If i didnt put it on, i couldnt enter the ER. I had to suffer all night and day. I told a doctor outside the ER on his phone, didnt care, I mentioned it a nurse in passing on her phone, and neither cared. Terrible place. Shameful. #stjohnsriversidehospital #dobbsferryNY #stjohnsriverside #dobbsferryhospital

My husband was turned away by the security guard tonight because he did not have a mask on…he was stung IN THE FACE by a hornet. How exactly was he supposed to put a mask over that? As his throat was swelling and face growing by the second. So we to go to another hospital and pray his throat didn’t close. For what? Covid? Come in NY do better. They wouldn’t even let him in. Shame on you, how can you call yourselves a hospital?

I have to say the ER is great. The nurses are all so nice & treat patients with respect & great care. The support staff was great. The doctor & the resident both listened & explained when asked a question. This is the best ER in Westchester! Thank you

We do them at the Andrus Pavilion, 967 North Broadway, in Yonkers. The suites are private, quiet and comfortable.
You have to physically at the hospital sign to release due to HIPAA AND EHI guidelines, it's strict, NO EXPCTIONAL.
Go on line and it a good hospital clean and good with people
