Nice, short walk. My dog enjoyed sniffing around the trail.I unfortunately was the mosquitoe buffet. I had a natural bug spray on (Not deet) This did not deter the blighters 🦟🦟🦟☹️

By the train tracks is a little nature preserve with trails inviting you to find solitude. Latte in hand from nearby Hopscotch Coffee & Records, I entered behind Evergreen. Walk by a sign that talks about the preserve’s history and pass through the forest, stopping at yoga stations and instructions that teach you how to hug a tree. It’s a small respite!

The wooden trail has a fallen tree and the trail is pretty narrow. If you encounter someone, you will need to squeeze pass each other. There is a paved trail around the preserve that is bike friendly. I recommend staying on the paved trail.
