Absolutely not! My mother was there after a hip replacement recently and they were negligent in their care. They ignored her requests, she could hear the nurses talking and laughing while she was waiting in her bed to be taken to the bathroom. They did not change her nightgown or shower her in the five days she was there. Horrible place.

Absolutely not!!!!! My husband DIED less than 2 days of being admitted there. He was fine when he was admitted. The next day he was having difficulty breathing. I called the nurse and asked her to please check on him and/or call a doctor. She told me I would have to call him back later she was too busy to call me back because she was in charge of 2 cottages. She also, said the doctor wouldn't be in until Monday, this was on a Saturday afternoon, and I didn't understand doctors needed days off. At 6:30 the next morning on a Sunday we got that awful phone call saying my husband was DEAD!!!!! Had she done her job and not neglected my husband he may be alive today!!!

I was brought here around July 6, 2021, after surgery of my ankle which o broke in 3 places. For the most part I have enjoyed my time here. The cottages are very nice and the rooms are comfortable. I did have a leak in my bathroom which took 2 was and 3 visits from maintenance to get it fixed. The nurses and staff have been very nice and will fill almost any request if u ask. My only problem has been the lack of staff. Sometimes when you ask for something such as a pain pill they will tell you the girl is in another cottage which means they are working 2 cottages. I don't understand how u can take someone away from a rehab facility to take care of another. The majority of the patients here are completely relying on the staff 24/7. I've had accidents because I was not allowed out of the bed alone. I had to wait on someone to be there b4 I could get up so if it took them a long time I couldn't hold it. I take meds 3 times a day and was prescribed pain killers.

I have been to Brushy Creek rehab twice now and both times the care was amazing!! The nurses are top notch, the CNAs are very kind and courteous, and the therapists are best! They will get you moving in the right direction with therapy 6/7 days a week. If you need something, that will get it for you if it is at all possible. They will help you go to the bathroom, shower, change your clothes, and work on your everyday ADLs (Activities of Daily Living - going to the bathroom, showering, getting dressed, feeding yourself, etc...until you are strong enough to do it yourself). The nurse will give you ask off your medications as prescribed and when due. If you have a medication (like a pain medication) that is an as needed and as requested for, they will give it to you as long as it’s time to receive it. So you will be greatly cared for while there!!!
