My wife & arrived shortly after 4 AM on 10-13-22 with me having experienced severe abdominal pains for 24 hours preceding. I am not going to overdetail this review with all they did but within a couple hours my stomach was pumped relieving tremendous pressure, a CAT scan done on my intestines & surgery scheduled for that afternoon. It was discovered I had complete blockage due to scar tissue effectively strangulating the intestine. From my intake into the ER until I left the hospital 4 days later every single staff member, particularly Sean F. who was my nurse for much of the time, was both professional, kind & helpful to both me & my family & friends who visited. I can not say a single negative word & am very thankful their quick response to my condition very likely prevented a much more serious outcome for me. I do see lots of negative reviews here so must add my reason for selecting this hospital that morning was the excellent care given to my father when he was there for 2 days earlier this year. I have found in 50 years of experience that how staff treat you whether in a hotel, a restaurant , a department store or a hospital is largely reflective of how you treat them. I have very rarely ever shown anyone decency & respect & not received it back.

I had a Robotic Double Hernia Repair procedure at this hospital. The entire experience , although painful after the procedure, was a pleasure. The doctors and all nursing staff treated me like royalty. I wouldn't think twice about ever being treated here again. Very nice Hospital for the Greer and Greenville Community.

Would not give 1 star, but it’s required to leave a review… after 5.5 hours in the ER we still haven’t seen a Doctor in this hospital. Sad the quality of care.. rather, the LACK OF QUALITY in care, that is available today. Expect to wait half a day to get any service here.

They do have volunteer help. Check with the personnel department.
They also have Medical physicians offices there. Vi go to one of them . I really like my Doctor I see. She is on the same campus. Here are some pictures of the campus I took the other day when I was leaving.

Emergency Room being imis-used has given people a false sense of "standards".. I am sure it was not intentional, but 5 hours is extremely fast by the national average for a non life threatening situation. .Sas for not seeing a doc, some emergency situations, docs can delegate to RN if in surgery, asthma treatments, eye flushes, stitches etc . The doc may have been handling a heart attack, gun shot or severed arm..... God bless.

Yes. One person at a time, one per day. Once you go in, if you leave, you cannot go back inside. My father was sent to the ER and I was with him until they admitted him. Then, I had to leave the ER and wait until 2 pm the next day to visit.

I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes but I am sure that it will depend on the procedure you are having done.
There is senior transport. It's located by the Red Cross on Grove Rd. You have to call them to arrange transportation.

Just go in the main front door. There is a desk directly in front of you . They will sign you in and direct you to where you need to go. If there is a volunteer there, they will escort you to your destination. Good luck.
