Dear Mr. Temple, Thanks for your reply. My rig is far from a "large RV". Ideed it is only 2 feet longer than a standard Ford truck, as the "truck camper" slides into the bed of the truck almost completely. As well, we have a solar so no generator would be run.
Hello, Kathy. The drive through the camp ground is wide enough that you could easily get around. Cochise Stronghold is a favorite place for us, as my husband identifies with the Apache people. It's worth your time to visit. There are easy trails and plenty of interpretive signs and photos. Blessings. Sherry
No way. Read the replies to the question about running an RV generator. We've been there in our small AWD Volvo, and aside from the trailer size limit, the road is narrow, there's a couple rugged washes to cross, and the camping spots are far from sizeable enough to accommodate a large RV. As nice as it is back there, it's intended for small, short stays.
