Well kept, easy to navigate, great setup. The site was laid out just as they explained. We were in C loop, and had easy access to electrical hookups and to water. Good distance between us and the next campsite. The dumpster was the perfect distance away and very well kept. The views were lovely! Great trip outside of the 100+ degree weather. Definitely a site we'll be revisiting.

Great Campground. Couldn't make it to Saguaro before sundown so we stopped here and were able to easily grab a site and self register. $20 for an RV site with power! only 50amp plug though so keep that in mind. lots of sites have BBQ Grills charcoal fires only. Nice Bathrooms no showers. excellent views

This park is beautiful! Campsites are set in the middle of the desert. You can see the sun rise and set over the Sonoran desert. There are easy and more difficult hikes in the area. The Saguaro National Park is just a few miles away. There are no showers available in the campground. You can only stay for 1 week at a time.

Wonderful campground. Very nice people- Jim, Joyce and others. Well maintained, level camp spots, clean bathrooms but no showers. No problem for us in our RV. Stayed 5 days (3 days longer than planned) and enjoyed the lovely peaceful area here in the Tucson Mtn. Park and Saguaro NP. Plenty to see and hiking trails right off the campground. An awesome place for my photography with some beautiful sunsets and serene sunrises.

No, but if you get there early in the day you should get a site
Yes. They have 10 tent camping sites, if I remember correctly. But you can camp in RV campsites too. It is a very nice campground.
I stayed there in May and only about one third of the sites were taken. Iwas told by the camp manager that the cooler months of March and April were crowded.
This remarkable campground is more suited for meditation, yoga and beautiful strolls at sunset.
There are plenty of sites so I guess you can, but I see plenty of reservations already. The sites are pretty alike so I'd recommend to make a reservation.
You don't need to bike over the pass to get groceries. There are stores due South of the campground just a few miles away.
The phone lines have been down for a very long time, the front desk folks are using their personal cell phones. They are not sure if or when the phones will be fixed. The best way to get into the reservations system is through the online path
