Good place to ambush the enemy.

I think it's called dry camping in most areas... no water provided. Cochise Stronghold has great historical significance, which you will discover as you walk and read the many interpretive signs along the way. There are trails marked with native Arizona plant life, and descriptions of the uses for each. The mountains are awesome to see, and if you're a climber, lots of easy climbs. Don't miss it!!

There is a nice trail with educational boards showing botany and history. How people survived and that sort of thing. Most beautiful and informative.

This is such a stunning place. Our favorite place to hike. You feel like you step into the past. We pack a goat train up and just take off. We’ve found caves lots of Indian sign. You forget about everything but what’s around the next rock! We pass cars and campers but have never crossed hikers before. Take a horse take your dogs take a sleeping bag and get lost in history
