Yes you can donate plasma but not for money.
The two responses below are correct. Because the plasma and other blood components donated to us are used for patient transfusion, it is in violation of federal law to give a monetary payment to the donor. There are plasma centers that do pay for your plasma, but that plasma is used to develop retail products. They accept donations of whole blood, platelets, double red, plasma, even white blood cells if needed, but they do not pay for donations.
