How long does an employer have to give you your final check after being terminated from the company and are there penalties incurred that the employer would have to pay the separated employee for not receiving there pay for several weeks?

If you're laid off they have to pay all of what they owe if you're fired they can hold your last check for a week

Employer should issue your last pay check at the pay cycle which maybe biweekly or monthly
