Time worked is time paid under the law. Unfortunately AZ does not have laws concerning breaks. A company would have policies concerning breaks and lunches. Those policies are aligned with the law.

Oh no I know for a fact that 30 minutes gets taken out because they told us that's what happens. Whether we take a break or not

I'm not sure how to answer that but oddly enough that's an issue that has just recently come up with the place where I work so now I am trying to diligently check my hours to see if they're taking time off my work or if that's something they started doing with new hires
