do you take home canned goods? I have peach jam and several pint bottles of grape jelly. Keep getting the same gift from our friends, but we don't eat grape jelly. and what about out of date (quite far out of date) commercially canned items??

We can only take commercially canned foods and within 6 months after expiration.

I've never had a problem with them. I donate the food and they do whatever they do with it. Most times mine has some outdated materials. Im thinking they dispose of them properly instead of just tossing them likei almost do

You should call them, any answer you get here will likely not be from the.. that said, doubt they would take home canned food. But fhey might.
