I have volunteered at this facility for a while and will continue to volunteer here. The staff is friendly and helpful and what they're doing is awesome. I highly recommend donating and/or volunteering here if you're looking for opportunities to serve the community!

The staff here was very nice and helpful. They have great services and do some good work. I'd recommend this place to anyone with almost any need. They are set up to help in so many ways. As far as volunteers and donations go, it's a good place to do either, as they really try to utilize the help they get in any way they can to help those in need.

I see homeless people all the time on the streets. I used to give them money but now I go back and forth trying to decide if I am helping or hurting by doing this. I donate through my church but still am confused as to what to do when I see them with their signs. Any suggestions?
Yes theyll give u everything u need
that is a conditional thing if you could please make a phone call so the clarification can be had as to what you have in mind.
We can only take commercially canned foods and within 6 months after expiration.
The Food & Care Coalition was founded in the fall of 1988 by virtue of public dialogue and numerous meetings. The agency is funded primarily by private donations from foundations, corporations, and the community at large. Under 10% of their funding comes from any government source. Their executive director is Brent Crane, who has been with the organization since 1989 and the director since 1993, and remains in that capacity today. The agency established a collaborative service delivery system that is now being modeled elsewhere in the state and around the country. Their agency is operated by a small but dedicated staff and high participation of community members who volunteer their time to move mission activities forward in practical and common sense ways.
Yes. He can do service hours at the coalition.
On a limited basis for existing clients. All others are referred to the food bank for which this is a primary service.
We are a drop in resource center for many services, but not housing - you need to apply for our housing program in person.
there are no shelters in Utah County. You might be able to get a hotel voucher from Community Action tomorrow, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. I suppose you have a few more hours at a mall or library this evening.
No, our facility sits on private property with overnight parking being prohibited. Walmart is the only business that I know of which allows this.
You must be an active client (have a short intake) and then it is done by scheduling. Visit us at 299 E. 900 S. in Provo and the front desk can get you squared away.
