Called non emergency about a wild large dog on the streets, and I guess I need to do an online submission. Hope in 3 to 5 business days you can come serve the people.

I am an Orem resident. I'm giving an average of three stars because I've had one five-star interaction and one one-star interaction, both regarding fender benders. In both circumstances I was not at fault. In the first interaction, which was pre-covid, someone hit my car in the parking lot of Utah Valley Medical Center and left a note. The officer helped me file the report and even acted as a mediator between me and the other party. I was very pleased and I wish I could remember his name. The second interaction happened at the mouth of the canyon, barely in Provo boundaries. My son was hit by another car as they were both turning left from University Avenue to 800 North in Orem. My son called Orem PD and was directed to Provo PD. The dispatcher refused to send someone and he was told to file a report online in the morning. It was dark, and my 19 year old son was alone with three grown men from the other vehicle trying to figure this out and he could have really used an officer's help. We filed the report the next day, complete with photos. Did not hear any thing back. After two weeks, I called Provo PD and was told by a very impatient lady that they had 30 days to send the report to us and to the other driver's insurance company. They never sent the report. The insurance company waited for two months and never got anything and so moved ahead without the report. The accident was in April and the repairs were just barely completed August 1. I'd like to say I am disappointed with the way this was handled, but they didn't handle it at all!

City Customer service located at 351 W Center through the north doors can do fingerprints during weekdays. I'd call ahead before you go in to ensure they can do what you need.
Right on this page. Scroll down, you'll see 5 stars. Select the rating you wish to give and any comments or experience you'd like to share. You're review will get emailed to the admin of the page, which I would guess would be the PIO.

107 sworn.
Always. Better safe than sorry
No. The parking lot is restricted to parade participants.
Tin front of the police station at 48 S 300 W
15 mins of continuous barking then you can call it in. Unless you just go over to your neighbor and talk to them.
Probably not anymore than all police officers. As that's typically how they're trained. If an officer suspects you did something might be more helpful to play the honesty card, instead of throwing up excuses.
Both. By reporting it to the police department they can list it as stolen on a nationwide database so if the plate gets run it will show up as stolen and the police can stop the suspect.
