I dont think unique is the point, it's mainly things thst are well known or "comfort", or at the very least you know what to expect from them. Places like Denny's, Mimi's, McDonald's & Panera. If you want unique, you go into downtown Disney.
There are several restaurants nearby anywhere from fast food to family sit down and nicer sit-down restaurant. Of course there are many fabulous ones located inside Disneyland and California Adventure but there are also a few nice ones located in Downtown Disney or you do not need a theme park ticket to enter. It really just depends on if you're going with the family or a date.
There is a Bubba Gump restaurant just walk south on Harbour then turn left on Kattella and go about 80 yards.
Downtown Disney has a bunch of eating choices within walking distance, along with the Disney hotels.
