Pros: Location, 10 minute walk to Disneyland. Near by restaurants small store in building 1 open from 12pm to 11pm very convenient. CONS: The pool and the splash water park get really crowded. Not enough room for all the rooms they have. Also on the last day of our stay which was a Saturday, the staff close down the jacuzzi at 8pm. There was a group of about 10 people enjoying it but they kicked us out and said they had to do some sort of service to it? We we stayed at the splash park until 10pm (closing time) and no one ever did anything to the jacuzzi. I found that odd and rude. Who does some sort of service to a jacuzzi on a Saturday night at 8pm when it's working perfectly fine and people are enjoying it. Someone did ask what kind of service they had to do but the staff had no answers. couldn't they wait till the next day to do whatever they had to do. We also got a letter Saturday morning saying the pool was going to be open only a couple hours of the day on Sunday, again due to some sort of service they had to do to it. I didn't really care since we were checking out Sunday morning but come on, one of the reasons you book a hotel is to enjoy their facilities and what's good if they have them close? I don't think I will return to this Hotel.

I’m almost scared to brag about how wonderful this hotel is for a Disneyland attendee because I don’t want my favorite hotel to be flooded, but I have to be honest: this is the best hotel to stay at by FAR if you’re going to Disneyland. It’s a 7-8 minute walk, completely flat for those using mobility aids, and the hotel itself is SO comfortable. Buildings 1 and 2 have been completely renovated! These buildings have elevators, so make sure to book them if you need elevator access. The customer service is beyond anything I have experienced anywhere else. I am a Disneyland regular and will not be staying anywhere else. It’s close enough that a nap during the day is possible, and the pool is perfect for those with kids. There’s also a pool more catered to adults as well! You can have your scooter directly delivered to the hotel which is incredibly convenient. All in all, I can’t recommend the HOJO highly enough!

Absolutely LOVED this hotel! Has the cutest Disney theming and great pool for kids! Comfy beds, very clean and the staff was amazing! We loved how close it is to Disneyland and how easy it was to pop back for naps during the day. We will be staying here every time we go to Disney now! Couldn’t recommend it more

While I've been to Disneyland many times, this was my first time staying here at this hotel and I loved it! The room (i stayed in building 1) was beyond cute and the beds were supper comfy! I had a park view and was able to watch the fireworks from my balcony my first night there! The best part is the distance to the parks! I'm a pretty fast walker, so it took me less then 10 minutes to get to the parks! Made doing a quick outfit change a breeze. I can't recommend this hotel enough and I can't wait to be back in the future!

Yes they are happy to hold luggage for you. We arrived early and they took our luggage and we were able to use the water park area until room was ready.
Yes; they cost $1.25 (5 quarters) per load per machine.
We pay $ 170 per night. It is an 8 minute walk to Disneyland. At night we managed to see the fireworks from the balcony. It is very clean and you don't hear any noise from the neighbors or the street. We stay on the fifth floor. I recommend it 100 percent. The water park is fabulous. The pool is not to mention. The water is always warm. Walking you will find a variety of restaurants and souvenir shops. 😉👍
Call the hotel to verify. They say if they're close to selling out they won't allow extra vehicle parking on the property and divert other places (to other hotels, I'd guess). If you're coming at a busy time, call ahead!! They're usually really helpful for all of your questions!!
Not during the day. Possibly later in the night. There is a hot tub in play area but not by the pool.
You can do the blue van shared ride for 45 a person, I took a taxi from lax is was $120 with tip, took an uber to lax was $95 with a tip.
yes
No not yet. They have not released a date when it will be open.
Yes they do
In order to use the water park at the hotel, yes, you have to book a room/ stay there.
It depends on which site you book on, how many nights you're staying for, if you have any applicable discounts, etc.
Actually, marijuana is prohibited on the property. You can smoke on the sidewalk, but not on the property. Unfortunately, the hotel reserves the right to prohibit it on private property and they do not allow it, even in the smoking area.
No bar, just wine and beer sold in their store. But the hotel across the street has a restaurant with a bar.
There is no room service and when we were there in February there were still rooms that we're not renovated yet. As for hidden fees - none that I recall. The only two issue we had was 1) when the kids opened up a single bed that was out in the open, they wanted to charge us for using it. Apparently there was a small note that wasn't visible stating that you get billed for using the bed if it's opened. 2) we booked through a third party for a weeks stay and they refused to give us our rewards points. Other than that it was a great stay! The location and water park make it my favorite place to stay while visiting Disneyland.
The king room is not small, but I don't think it would fit the rollaway. Call the hotel ahead of time and verify! They'll tell you for sure!
They don't have a shuttle but can help you get one. They offered to book a Super Shuttle on the way out. The Disneyland Express is also an automatic stop when you're on your way home. They also suggested using Super Shuttle when you come in since they have kiosks throughout the major airports.
The hotel doesn't have a breakfast, but they do have snacks in the store. Most of the snacks are wrapped in individual packaging, as well, so they would be safe if the food itself is safe.
K-Cup type coffee maker if I remember correctly. There was also a microwave.
The walk is quick - only about 10 minutes if you walk slow. I'm not sure about the miles - maybe .25 miles?
Yes, it is the ART shuttle, where you can look up prices online or ask at the Front Desk, where they sell you the tickets. The tickets prices are for the whole day. The ART is slow, though. It only runs like every 20-30 minutes. The walk, if everyone can make it, is only about 10 minutes (if you move slow) to the security tents
The first car is included with each reservation until 3pm on the day of your check out. Any additional car or to stay past 3pm on your check out date is $20 plus tax, I think. Which is still cheaper than most other hotels or Disneyland's fees.
Toilets are near lift near games room. We left all our bags Nd did the majic morning on our last day as it turned out. Stayes at Disney till lunch went to a relaxing at the Cheesecake Factory then went back to Disneyland then got bags at hotel got bus at 5:30 to airport for 10:30 flight kids slept for 6 hours straight
As early as you want. They'll hold your bags and give you access to the pool if they don't have your room ready yet. Rooms are guaranteed by 4 pm since their checkout is really late at noon.
Ya i seen the rollout
Closer than 2 of the Disney property hotels!
Only about 10 min walk .... And its on sidewalks too so safe to walk on with the kids
Right across the street is a Mimi's cafe and Panera bread. There is a little store at the hotel that has some snacks an microwaveable dinners, and whatnot.
Bigger room, better view.
You could probably call and ask them for a discount, especially during low times at Disneyland (kids in school, extremely cold weather, etc.,). You could also ask for military, police or firefighter discounts. It never hurts to ask.
There is a Jacuzzi tub in the pirate water play area. Hours are 9 am to dusk.
You go on the rooftop to see it properly.
We paid $199
We paid $203 today for one night and $0 for deposit
