It was a really nice hotel. The beds were great. I slept well. The showers were spacious with enough room for two. The pool and spa were very nice to cool off in on a hot day. The spa felt great at night. Breakfast actually has a cook. Cooking up eggs, hash browns, pancakes, sausage, bacon.... They had several juices, cereal, coffee..... cream. Perfect.

What an amazing set of staff at this hotel. The hotel is a little older, sure, but it was incredibly clean. You can smell the cleanliness of the sheets the moment you walk into a room, and not a spot or hair in the bathrooms. The pool is great, location is great, I can't say nice enough things about this place. I was a little skeptical of some of the reviews speaking of the musty odors, as I have sensitive senses, but it really didn't bother me. There was a slight older hotel room smell, but I mostly smelt the cleaning products (in a good way). The air conditioner didn't have an odor, which I find most hotels do, the hallways didn't have an outstanding smell one way or another, and the lobby just smelt like pool and the buffet area. The rooms had some minor issues: yes, some stains on the floor, some of the lampshades and curtains were not in great shape, but the rest of the room was so well kept, it really didn't bother me. Most hotels have carpet stains of some type...it's a hotel. Whether you see them or not, you don't want to know what's really there. The curtains, same. I've stayed in Fairmont's with stained/holey curtains. What does it really matter? It was only the blackout curtains that had this issue in our room anyway, and it was a few marks which could have come from a dryer to be honest. Overall, the bed and pillows were not of my personal preference in terms of softness (they were too soft for me), but still super clean and comfortable, and high quality. The buffet was a relief. The meal is served to you with a few self-service stations, but I was really impressed with the quality for a free buffet. Usually, you don't get the greatest options and the food is less than edible, but this was not the case here. The staff were outstanding. Staff at the front desk were great. They were super helpful with reassurance of area go-to's for restaurants and the ART bus option for Disney. I heard from others that the area was not great and a little rough, but I didn't find this at all. I felt safe enough to walk to and from the hotel at night, coming from a restaurant area to the east, but I was with my husband. Don't think I would walk around alone at night, but that could be said about any city. The area was so close to Disney, walking back to the hotel one night, we stopped at the Honda center parking lot to view the fireworks. If you're on the west side of the hotel and a higher floor, you can probably get a great view of the show. In addition, if you have a car, there's everything from an In N Out to Trader Joes about 10 mins away from the hotel to the NE. The pool had a great little area and hot tub that was welcoming after a long day of walking. It has trees around it to catch some needed shade as well. It's small, but if you go during non-peak hours/days, you can grab it all to yourself and have a great time. I highly recommend this hotel, will be returning and I didn't want to leave. Anaheim is awesome and this hotel really improved my experience.

We stayed at this hotel for four nights, it was a pleasant stay in a convenient location. The hotel is a bit dated, but kept well, and the staff are kind and accommodating. Pros: - (mostly) clean room - spacious - convenient area - friendly, masked staff - decent amenities - included continental breakfast Cons: - parking is $10/day on top of the price of the room - room cleanliness: the headboard had weird sticky spots like someone had splashed tea or soda, the curtains had a substantial what looked to be a blood stain they attempted to wash, judging by the color, the carpet had a few odd stains - odd flickering horror movie lights every time we turn them on - “hotel room smell” you know the one

We had never stayed at an Ayres Hotel before, so we were a little anxious about our accommodations for our Disneyland vacation. Well, we need not have worried because it was a great experience. The room was large and clean, the beds were comfortable, the free hot breakfast was delicious and filling, and the service, all the way from the front desk to housekeeping, was fantastic. One especially bright spot was Jose who served us breakfast most mornings. He has worked for the company for over 20 years and he was terrific. One small thing to watch out for: This hotel charges $1.00 for each phone call made from its hotel phone. Just for fun - our youngest made several phone calls to our cell phones from the hotel phone and we ended up being charged for this. Not a big deal, but a very small detractor from an otherwise perfect experience.

Yes, google works like charm. The hotel is easy to find on the map.
Yes. There is the art shuttle that stops directly in front of the hotel and goes to Disney. Runs every 20-30mins until the park closes
Yes
We also waited more than an hour, so beware. But you can buy the ticked with credit card at the hotel.
Per day
Breakfast is included in the rates, at least in some of them.
A shuttle or Uber might be a better option than walking because it is a long distance through a large one way entrance that doesn't appear pedestrian friendly. It's a safe area and the hotel has security.
About an hour drive
Yes, and yes.
What's right next to it I believe is the Honda Center Angel Stadium's down the road at least a mile or more
