Direct access to California Adventure Park from the hotel courtyard is a huge bonus. Disneyland access is through Downtown Disney 5 minutes away. The rooms are serviceable but, don't match the price. The bath towels need to be retired to a motel. I understand COVID is still a reality but they need to return to real glassware and ditch the plastic cups wrapped in plastic.. There also needs to be a place to access fresh water from a tap instead of buying bottled water. We all slept relatively well on the 2 beds and the balcony was a wonderful place to get some fresh air and admire the lights of the Park.

You pay for the location which was a huge plus for us, family with young kids and elderly. I would repeat this hotel again for the location. Easy access to the disney downtown, a nice place to spend evenings and take a stroll at night after dinner. Walking distance from the two parks. Making it easier to come back to the hotel for a bit of rest and then head back up. The pool area in the hotel was a great place to spend an evening as well. Above is pretty much the only good thing about this hotel at this price. Everything else was below value for money. Food, rooms, service, etc. This hotel can be so much more if only Disney paid more attention to the hotel part of it.

It was a wonderful, magical experience for my grandchildren. We did wish they provided a simple courtesy coffee/tea station in the lobby, as we have become accustomed to in most hotels. As an early awake grandma, I did not want to wake the kids, so I would dress quietly and head to the lobby to read or rock in front of the fire. But no cafes were open, so I had to hike out through the property and across Disneyland Dr. to buy hot chocolate at Paradise Pier. (No option for tea there.). Would be so simple to add a simply coffee and tea station.

Great hotel. We had a room directly above the monorail which was really cool to see while hanging on the balcony. The staff were attentive and very nice. Unfortunately due to covid daily housekeeping is still not in effect but I believe that is the norm within the industry at the moment. It was my first time visiting Disneyland so the simplicity of walking out of the hotel and into the park was great. Loved watching the band playing the lobby during the evenings as well.

Yes the have a baggage hold area, no need to call ahead, and they will even keep your baggage after you check out if you want to enjoy the day in the park at least they did for me because I had concierge service on the 6th floor
I believe you can, it ranges from 30% to 40% off I think
No. You must be a guest of the hotel.
i
I believe you are allowed to. You can always call the front desk and ask
All hotels need to be dog friendly for medical reasons just call and ask about as there will be a surcharge for the room
It's a short walk through Downtown Disney. You may also cut through Disney's California Adventure and straight accross to Disneyland. The parks are right accross from each other.
$25 a night if you are a hotel guest. The parking is really great, too. And if you valet please remember to tip.
Three days good Sunday to wed. Nit to busy
Yes. There is. It does cost a little, the hotel can help you get signed up.
There is a microwave in the ice room on the floors
Most definitely. You don't need a Disneyland ticket or reservation to stay at the hotel.
No as it is located in DCA. It does however have a nice view of grizzly river peak and all the area surrounding it.
50 valet 35 self
Everyone can use the DCA exit through the hotel. The Grand Californian doesn't have an entrance directly to Disneyland like it does to DCA. You will have to go through security again and enter Downtown Disney through the hotel's entrance, which will have you enter the downtown area in the middle of the shopping district. It would be quicker to exit DCA through the main entrance and walk to Disneyland from there.
Room service yes. Housekeeping every other day. Vaccinated no masks required.
Not louder, but lights that flash for someone at the door or if there's an alarm.
There is a newly created spa at the Grand Californian called the Teyana Stone Spa. It opened in Sept. 2021.
Yes. Mouse needs more cheese 🧀. Be prepared to spend thousand(s) of dollars
Better than that, there is an actual door to Downtown Disney and to California Adventure
Absolutely, they had it available before checkin and after checkout so we could enjoy the parks.
Not the first night. But you can for the following nights of you stay.
There are actually three 3⃣ Resort Hotels The Grand California Hotel The Disneyland Hotel The Paradise Pier The Grand California is definitely open and the closest shot into the park. If you don't mind paying a lot for a stay it is a Great obtion as far as location is concerned and getting 5 star 🌟 service!
No. The hotel is closed to guest at this time
I dont think so, but they do RV parking close to Disney.
It should bit it really doesn't matter though because they don't print names on the room keys anymore
You would have to go to the website to check which parks are on the schedule for that day. Sometimes it's both, and then you could choose, but most of the time it's only one of the parks. Most of the time it's either Disneyland or California Adventure.
The Grand CA does not have free breakfast. You can opt for concierge that does cost additionally, but you can visit concierge lounge for light breakfast, snacks at lunch & evenings, deserts in evening. And nice place to observe the aerial fireworks
Yes if you are an annual pass holder you do get discounts or certain things. The shops restaurants that offer it will ask you before you pay.
No, they have to buy tickets to enter the parks separately
The Alamo is just across the street. Short walk and its guite nice, nothing can compare to the Grand Californian but you'll never find any room at Disney for your price point.
Yes you need to be a hotel guest
They didn't run late (9pm), and I believe started around 6am
They are really good and keep pretty well. I bought some a few weeks ago for to give for Christmas and some for myself to eat and they are still very good.
Not in a regular room. You would have to get connected rooms or ask for the family sized room.
Just a short walk to Disneyland thru Downtown Disney. The hotel has a direct access entrance to California Adventure. Hotel is in a perfect location. Highly recommend.
Disneyland does not accomodate pets for hotel guests. The kennel club is only $20 per day for daytime (park visit) only. Yelp reviews is at 4. Must have all vaccinations up to date with copy from your vet, which is standard. You would need to find a doggie hotel nearby for overnight.
In the one bedroom we were in with a king size bed, from the headboard for about 1 foot was solid, then it was open after that until two posts at the foot corners of the bed.
I valet parked and drive a Highlander, it never seems to be a problem. If you are talking about Disneyland parking, I drove a tour bus there lots of times.
