I’m thinking of moving to Nashville one day. I’ve been part of the Biloxi VA for 25 years and I have appointment/ care givers that are awesome I’m sent outside for needed treatments which is great. How would you rate yours

I've heard of bad experiences at other VA facilities but to be 100% completely honest, I cannot think of a single instance where I experienced poor care while seeing doctors and staff at the Nashville campus. I've had several surgeries and must be seen several times a year by doctors here and only have praises to sing on their behalf. I cannot speak to the nearby Murfreesboro campus as I have not been seen there, but I have not heard anything negative about it either. If you do come to Music City, I believe that you won't find anything to worry about concerning the care that you will receive at this VA facility. 👍

I had heard all the nightmares about VA care so was absolutely surprised at the level and speed the multiple departments I have dealt with at the downtown Nashville campus. Everything from labs, audiology, Ortho and imagery have been professional and expedient. Had a couple hiccups with the prosthetics department but Ortho was quick to get ahold of them and try to remedy the issue. I like the care I get from the Nashville staff. I drive an hour and a half to be seen by them and as long as they keep treating me like they have so far, I will keep driving that far because to me they are worth the trip.

Strictly 5.0! The campus in Murfreesboro is the older of the two in the area but the grounds are spacious. The providers are top notch. Any services that are needed beyond this are provided in Nashville which is less than 50 miles away. And a shuttle is provided. Nashville is a more modern campus and is right next to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Susan Coleman Cancer Center. Vanderbilt has an agreement with the VA to have their residents trained there. Hope this helps.
